Anywho, Casino Night in 360/PS3 version is a Pre-order bonus at Gamestop.

Yeah, but i think it's a pinball game. So it's pretty useless anyway.

It's a slap in the face for me, considering both Casino Night and Lava Reef were one of my favorite stages in Sonic 3.

Trying out the Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Beta that was on PSN. Pretty damn fun, besides the times where they kept sniping me every 10 seconds. >_>

Got at least a 9 kill streak, so i'm happy. Can't wait to buy the game when it's actually released.

No, I'd say the outcry is from a very vocal minority.

Unlocking things are largely part of replayabilty, which make or brake a game for a lot of people. Whether it's alternate costumes, levels, modes, play functionality (etc.)

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but what's the issue? I haven't played the game, or any past Mercenaries mode in a RE for that matter, but I know they're minigames. How is this game different? Does story progression in this game prevent you from going back and replaying earlier levels? Cause if it doesn't, I really don't see why people are all uppity. So you just have someone else's scores and name attached to the game, and potentially everything's already unlocked? So what? It's not like they're charging for Online Pass DLC or anything. Please correct me if I'm assuming incorrectly here.

Perhaps since the game is entirely score-based, people would want to earn their high spot themselves. For example, if a player completes a mission and gets a score their really proud of, only to find out they didn't make a new record because the previous owner already beat it in record time. Sorta defeats the purpose of getting your own scores i guess... not entirely sure myself.

Have some Classic City Escape Music.

See if you can guess what the secondary melody is. :)

Endless Mine - Sonic 3 (happens to be my favorite "mini-game" theme from the game)

*stretches out hand* Cookie, please.

This is the part where I tell you he's in the game and serves as the hint bubble this time around. His model was found in the game's data and you can see him flying around Sonic in some City Escape videos. You can also see it in your video link (or the other ones on that channel) if you pause when the player is going through the intro menus.

Just checked the City Escape videos, didn't notice him before.

I hate to say it, but that song is really growing on me...

Doesn't look to bad actually, although i'm obviously looking most forward to Fate/zero.

YES plz

Honestly, something about this seems more fun than using modern Sonic. Maybe the fact that you can't boost everywhere, thus making it more challenging. Almost like Sonic Adventure (2) but more straight forward. Now we just need Omochao with his incredibly insightful advice and we're good.

Good lord the PS3 version is terrible. Its all muddy, looks like [parasitic bomb], and has a lower frame rate in a lot of spots.

Is the 360 version that much better? Visually, it looked fine to me when i played it, albeit a little low res and the physics for the jumping needs work. Also this may sound a little nitpicky but... NO result screen in the demo? The hell SEGA?

I guarantee the most important thing to the majority of Sonic fans is how the Classic style plays. They know how the modern style does.

True. Although, from a company standpoint, it wouldn't make sense to showcase virtually "half" the experience. SEGA put great emphasis on both gameplay styles. Naturally, this demo should have both. The Green Hill stage (modern) is an entirely new layout anyway, so why shouldn't we want to play it?

Not to mention it would add to the play time.

It would only make sense to compare BOTH modern and classic playstyles, no? Alternating between them to have the general feel of what the game is gonna be like, the physics, polish (etc.)

It would be stupid to skimp out on something that's equally important to the game.

I hope it uses a style similar to Gundam Unicorn. That would look [tornado fang]ing beautiful.

Sonic Generations DEMO available TOMORROW 6/23

Bad news: It might only be the classic playstyle. At least that's what the article makes it seem like... we'll see. It's better than nothing i guess.

Link's Awakening DX for the 3DS VC.

My first time playing through it. Very fun so far.

8593
Don't know why people feel it might cost $250. Think about it, a new powerful next-gen console with the same pricing as their handheld? I don't think so.

$300 - $350 seems much more believable.

Delicious HD Zelda. Definitely watch in 720p full-screen.

Simply amazing. Shame it's only a tech demo though. :(

8594
I've always been interested in this game since the first trailer. Loved the animation they used when they slid down the dunes.

8595
It's gonna be Zero.
Just watch.

I loved using Zero in Tatsu and MvC, but they've milked him one too many times already. Not really understanding why they continue to use him. I mean, Classic Megaman is another fan fav and would be hella awesome to play as. Why not use him?

There's one benefit of having him in this though. Unlike Tatsu and MvC's style of playing, SSB's battle system is obviously completely different from the traditional "combo based" Cappy fighting series. It might be a fresh feel for him. Maybe having an "arcady" Zero to whack opponents around with wouldn't be so bad...

Any news on Dream Drop Distance?

Nope. And i'm getting more and more impatient.

But when the time does come for new KH info/scans/vids, Squeenix usually delivers well.

8596
I'M SO GONNA GET ME THAT TINTIN GAME.

HOLY LORD.

Shovelware ahoy!

Funnily enough though, i'm very interested in seeing the movie.

8597
I dunno about you guys, but i was EXTREMELY impressed by this demo.

Check the link again. Turns out it's fake after all.

8599
So, real or fake?

http://nintendo3dsblog.com/leaked-image-of-super-mario-3ds

Looks real to me, but at the same time the level design looks a little cluttered/sloppy. Can't quite put my finger on it.

I'd love to see more Capcom reboots. I mean, they've already done SUCH a great job with Dante.
