and Mega Man 8's had more dimension to it. We really haven't seen a great, modern Mega Man yet.

Speaking of dimension, it would probably look great in stereoscopic 3D. Especially Tengu Man's stage with those leaves flying around in the background. So if MM11 were to use that style.....

First time i've heard of it. I'm not that into manga reading at all. 90% of my Japan-entertainment fix comes from watching anime. The 10% is just from reading the Tsukihime manga.

I might give it a shot one of these days though.

You know though, ever since I saw the beta footage of RE4 I'm saddened that that was not what we got.
It looked SO awesome.

I'll drink to that.

I wonder if Capcom ever gave a reason to why they changed it. As far as i'm concerned, that had a high potential of being their absolute best RE game without argue. If not their best game ever made.

I personally think Megaman 7's style worked really well for the Classic Series. SNES Style is more than welcome.

MM8 was too... I don't know, bubbly looking?

I think that using the sprite design of MM7 would look great. It would certainly be leagues more refreshing than rehashing what they've been doing with the previous 2. As for the music, it could stay the same really.

To be perfectly honest:

Yes indeed, I wouldn't mind another 8-bit Mega Man title. At all.
However, I would also welcome a 16-bit version, as long as it looks like MM7.
The MM8 visuals are welcome too.

So basically... I don't care.

We had a similar conversation about this before, so i know you don't care.

If Capcom has learned anything from the failure of RE5, Mercenaries 3D and fan rage over Operation: RC, they'll use whatever left of their braincells to make this true survival horror and not a third person action shooter game. As of now, fans are only hyped up for Revelations' "bringing back the horror" tagline. And the gameplay proves that it's true.

Alright, seriously, are people really okay with seeing yet ANOTHER 8-bit Megaman game? Am i not seeing the picture right?

Please tell me i'm not the only one hoping they use use a different style for MM11. Hell, 16-bit would be more than welcome.

I thought Batman's origin annoys people more.

Both Batman and Superman's origin story are one of comic book junkies' all-time favorite (obviously). I don't which one in particular is more of the favorite, but there's only a few people that i've seen complain about Batman's past. And those are usually the Superman fans, who go together with Batman fans about as well as oil and water. No matter what, it's always been internationally respected. But yeah, i can see people getting tired of it, retelling the same story over and over again.

But Batman's origin is mostly just mentioned in maybe one flashback at most (Batman Begins is the only real origin story I know of)

Detective Comics #33 was the first to reveal his origin. There were likely other takes on it, but that is the true and blue one. If he didn't become a symbol of intimation and authority after the shock of losing his parents right before his eyes, then that's not Batman.

Right, played around for a bit
It's an over-the-head third person action rpg sort of thing, like zelda if zelda didnt have items that were used in totally different ways, and did have items you can equip to increase your stats, and also a fun magic system.
Simple but fun, and pretty challenging. I've died a few times on the first (demo) dungeon, and it was always because I [tornado fang]'d up rather than the game screwing me over or being unfair.

Also, it seems there's at least one secret treasure in every area - on the overworld map you can see "Clear!" next to an area if you've found it.

So it's simple but fun. My type of game. I'll try it out as well.

I've always liked Spidey's origin story. Just the premise of having someone so young and inexperienced go through that trauma always stuck to me. That raw drive to use his powers to make up for his pain of losing those close to him. Similar to Batman (and i've ALWAYS loved his origin).

Either way, I'd have to get a new piece of hardware. At least on the 3DS, I could play it in private.

You could play it in private using the Wii U technology as well. Simply stream the game from the TV to controller.

Im pretty sure it's graphics are good enough for it's era. At least the facial expressions all are done perfectly. many gmes fell to the trap of trying to actually make the faces themselves move with polygons, which didnt always work. legends just stretched the canvas over the faces and animated them instead.

Thats aid, the 3DS Legends graphics themselves looked pretty sweet IMO, so either way its a win win.

The character models themselves were good, considering it's using the style and animation that the previous MML games had. But the buildings and landscapes looked terrible. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt given that was still a prototype, so it is passable in that aspect. Other than that, the game definitly has undeniable charm.

If they do make it multi-platform, the graphics might not be only thing inferior on the 3DS version. They might focus too much on the "superior" platform, leaving the 3DS with all the bugs and glitches. Things like that have happened before. I don't want to sound negative, but i just fear for that a little.

CyberConnect2 also made Tail Concerto and Solatorobo, both being very good and worthy substitutes to the Mega Man Legends series~

I've had my eye on Solatorobo. I hope they bring to the US.
