I will always love Spider-Man 3 more than the other two. Because put simply, I did not like the other two. They seem to catch the very worst of Spidey, the reasons why I don't like him rather than the reasons I do. They're full of bad acting, and not in a good, hammy way, and although the scenery and special effects are good, I can't take look at the rest of the movie and like them. I guess I'm weird.

I love Spidey 3 because it keeps making fun of itself. It stops with the constant whining and sad stuff and makes room for a whole lotta comedy. And it jumps from soap opera, to batshit insane crazed people and their lives. LOVE IT. =D EATING COOKIES IS EVIL AS [tornado fang].

But Spidey 3 had terrible acting, and most of it wasn't on purpose. Neither 1 or 2 had stellar acting by any means, but It was a lot better.. The plot, or rather, the pacing in 3 was a complete and utter mess. Not to mention it had the worst trilogy-conclusion I have ever seen in a super hero movie.

What I will say, Is that none of the Spidey movies captured his personality. I mean, the guy barely spoke over 5 sentences during a battle. No taunts, puns or "peek-a-boo" webbing to catch them off guard. I sorely missed that, but at least the fights were still really inventive. Something I can't say much for 3. I also loved how Harry's distaste for Spider-man grew in 1 after Normey died, and Peter questioning whether his power was a curse or blessing. Then they completely steamrolled all over that in 3, with some horribly thought-out revelation scene.

You make it seem that Spidey 3's only purpose is to make people laugh... which is completely avoid the point it was aiming for. It was an embarrassment of a movie.

Light is the fastest form of transportation... I wonder how this would work, exactly.

Can't wait for the Four Swords Anniversary Edition coming out the 28th of this month! Single player sounds wonderful.

I guess it's okay as far as editing goes. But I'd probably enjoy it more if I could, you know, understand it.

Kewl drawings. Gives off creepy Yaoi vibes, but besides that, awesome. Especially those KH pics.

I've recently started clawing my way through One Piece, and managed to get as far as finishing the Arlong Park arc, but not quite done with the East Blue saga yet.

I've wanted to start that show for the longest. But those 500+ episodes are intimidating. :P

Looks eerily familiar, doesn't it?

I dunno, what's it supposed to look like? I'm thinking MMZ.

To be honest, I can't imagine a Marvel x KH crossover working out.

But that Spider-man and Disney comparison that Mirby made has me intrigued. It definitely could fit well.

I just noticed something really bizarre.  Rapid-pausing when Mario hits the item box in the beginning, one of the items is a red "7", as in the logo.

So...what in the crap does that do?  Coin jackpot?

Or maybe a replacement for the Gold Mushroom? But Coin jackpot does make the most sense.

Also, am I the only one who thinks a story mode in this game, or any Mario Kart game, would be interesting? Just a little fun, wacky plotline with a one-on-one race with Bowser at the end (or a really hard 8-player 150cc race?)

Cool trailer, but I found the BBS trailers to be more exciting. I don't know if it was because they were new characters, better music or maybe the darker tone. In terms of the battle system, this looks like it has BBS beat. And the touch screen strategy combat looks extremely useful. I'm just worried that the story won't be terribly interesting until towards the ending.

I hope Neku has a bigger role in this game than what Cloud had.

Anyone here seen Young Justice on cartoon network yet?

If so what are your thoughts on the series so far?

I've been enjoying the hell out of this show and new episodes finally started up again ^ ^

Likewise. Actually, I'm surprised that I haven't heard anyone talk about it here. Last episode I saw was where Miss Martian and Superboy were trying to fit in for school. They've taken a really long break between airings though, like 2 or 3 months from episode 6 to 7. While I certainly enjoy watching it, I have to say Thundercats in shaping up to be the better action show.

The problem with Young Justice is that the action sequences don't feel nearly as grand as what I'm used to in the Justice League series. I understand that they're still in their early stages and the show is only about 10 episodes in, but only a handful of episodes were really cool and exciting to watch. The rest of the episodes felt average, with nothing that significant happening. And I really wish they would show more of Robin in action, instead of most the episodes just focusing on Superboy.

I might sound a little too negative on this show, but don't get me wrong, It is incredibly refreshing to what the media has been shoving out today. And both Young Justice and Thundercats are two huge steps forward in the right direction for the shitfest that is now Cartoon Network.

So my friend and I were discussing about the Spidey trilogy today. Not really sure how our conversation transitioned to Spider-man, probably because we were talking about how we wanted a "movie-quality" super hero TV show. Anyway, he claims to have enjoyed Spider-man 3 over Spider-man 2. But like most people have said, 3 was the worst in the trilogy. After a few minutes of talking, he agreed that "maybe" Venom weakened the quality of the movie, but loved how he came into the scene for the first time.

Arguing back and forth, I just finally said that the only good part about the movie was Sandman's birth. Granted, him falling down into the middle of the construction site was lame. But his origin really showed that he wasn't "just another terrible crook", but like everyone else who just happened to have bad luck. Being divorced and not being able to see his son again.

Both the music and animation for this scene were amazing, but after this point in the movie, it straight-out fell flat. I know this is an old movie, thus an old topic, but that argument made me want to vent again on how much potential the movie had. I would actually say the entire beginning of the movie was good, later ruined by TERRIBLE dialog and story telling that did not do the previous 2 masterpieces justice. Venom's rush-job in the movie sealed the coffin, and I was already tempted to walk out of the movie theater when
Peter was doing that stupid dance.

After like 15 minutes of talking, we just dropped the subject. I really don't know if he decided to agree with me or not, he just shrugged it off. Anyway, just wanted to post that here. Also curious if anyone here thinks that the movie had the potential to be the best in the series if not for atrocious pacing and dialog. I think having Sandman and Venom in the same movie doesn't sound so bad on paper, if Raimi hadn't created 3 with an IQ level under 10.

Lookin' sharp there Neku.

Battles look pretty much the same as BBS, which is a very good thing. However, like BBS, there is noticeable lag when things get intense. I would have thought the framerate would move smoother since it's not running off a disc, therefore less load and buffer. Hopefully that lag is cleaned up in the final version (or the inevitable Japan-exclusive Final Mix version). As of now, KH2 still has the silkiest movements in the series for whatever reason.

He'd much rather replace all the model and puppetry and good, tangible special effects with CGI, and add Vader's "NOOOOO!" to the ending of RotJ for whatever ass-[tornado fang] reason.

Is that only the blu-ray alteration? Maybe I could just stick with the DVDs, but at the same time, I do want to see the picture quality remastered.

something about FF and cutting veins bullshit

FF characters didn't add to the complexity or "[tornado fang] up" the story. It added variety to the game, and gave you the opportunity to try out different attacks. And what's wrong with Donald and Goofy? Strip away the Disney themes from the series and you don't have KH. You need to stop playing this series.

I sure hope Nomura isn't aiming for an over arching, multi-complex story, because he failed hard. Mind you, I don't mean that the story isn't thought provoking. Really, there is only 3 or 4 ways to look at the story progression: Darkness fucks [parasitic bomb] up, Friends and allies become lost in darkness, Light overcomes darkness and the hero saves the day. That's all it's been from (chronologically) BBS to KH2/Coded. From that core perspective, they add FF, Disney and now TWEWY characters and worlds to sweeten the entertainment factor.

The battle between Light and Darkness is obviously an age-old thing, and the KH series is by no means the best or over-complex take on the topic. But I hope SE keeps in mind, first and foremost, it is a story about a boy and his Keyblade. Fighting for his friends. Simple and fun. It's supposed to be a average, pick-up-and play series with a simple storyline. And I feel that lately they have been trying to needlessly add "filler" darkness and "lost memory" ploys to try and deepen the series. If they want to go any deeper, just focus on MX's "resurrection", have Sora (and Riku) kick his ass, and done.

Hell, not even an average Final Fantasy game gets terribly deep.

The gameplay looks nice. I hope it's compatible with the second slide pad for the camera, though.

It was on a list of compatible games for the peripheral.
