My problem is the fact that Perfect Chaos used to be a BIG, respectful villain. The God of Destruction, in his ultimate phase. Going Super Sonic in that fight meant something, specially when it was the first game in which the story was a bit more complex than usual. By having a fight with regular Sonic, it kinda takes away from the scale.

I guess the redesign has got to do with the fact that he now needs a new movement routine, a new kind of "arena" and a new weak point.

Well, he still seems to have the same weakpoint at least. You can see Sonic homing attacking his brain that's sticking out.

Only thing it's missing is the original "Objection" and "Take That" soundclips. And yeah, his model needs work, but at least it's better than the 3DS one.

By replacing him with a completely different actor who acts and looks nothing like the original.

I don't think it's the actor, as it's so much the lazy way of writing the use of War Machine into the plot. He wasn't needed, and the "high-five" explosion at the ending was [tornado fang]ing stupid.

I died so much.

Yep, just like Demon's Souls, you'll die a ton of times before you succeed. But that's the fun part, figuring out different strategies to defeat them and looking at various tips from other players that were killed.

The funny thing is that this stage design could've been used as an entirely new level to the franchise (minus the same almost exact color palette and Death Egg). It didn't have to be "Sky Sanctuary" or built around using the Sonic 3 stage layout as a foundation. It's that good, and I'm impressed to say the least. Colors had some really awesome stage designs as well.

Portal 2. Anybody up to play the new free DLC? Got no partner.

I have Portal 2 for PS3, but barely played over 40 minutes of it. It's not that I think it's bad by any means, in fact it's incredibly creative and fun (and difficult as [parasitic bomb]). But i own a ton of other games i've yet to play. Which version do you have?

Yeah, I'd wager he stayed to bring them back on track given his talent and history with them, but clearly, they're hopeless. There was nothing he could do.

I really like Eggman's voice and dialog in that teaser. And of course, Jaleel White is a plus. But Sonic's 3D model makes it look like a new "take" on the Werehog.

I loved every bit of this episode. People complain about OMGSOMUCHTALKING when this episode is the introduction to the Holy Grail War, granted there could have been less still scenes and more lively character movements. And the transition from Saber's summoning to the opening theme was very well done. I don't think there is any argument against this being the best anime of 2011.
