Well, I suck at this game and I'm not afraid to admit it. XD

Awesome game and tribute, man. And I agree, the boxart looks great.

What I don't understand is its popularity.

KyoAni (company) + Haruhi + Lucky Star = fans going "HOLY [parasitic bomb] IT'S GOLD"

RMZX, you just went all systems full power crazy.
What's there to understand about K-ON? It's just a [tornado fang]ing anime about girls playing guitars and doing cute things.
Not to mention it's [parasitic bomb] and filled with QUALITY.

But... but how can you not love Mio. :(

Gaming / Re: What version of PSP should I get?
« on: December 11, 2011, 08:18:43 PM »
The first PSP I bought was used (PSP 1000), so I didn't get the case.

As far as I know, the 3000 doesn't come with a case. At least the KH Birth by Sleep - PSP 3000 bundle I bought last year didn't. But It could be they simply removed the case for the bundle, I have no idea.

Come to think of it, Ed looks similar pants wise.

(click to show/hide)

But it looks like it has more breathing room than Archer's.

.... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

You say that as if his original outfit wasn't screaming "I'M A [Top Spin]".
I mean, really?

It wasn't at all. I think it was one of the better designs of the servants.

The only way to get new panels is by using Streetpass, unfortunately. So you're stuck with that one until then.

My second one is Pilotwings Resort, 5 pieces away from finish. (Cursed [tornado fang]ing Pink Spaces.)

Got the same one. What do the pink spaces mean?

8160
The 3D video recording and motion capture are pretty cool. But I probably won't use those much anyway. The Mii Plaza updates are... interesting. I completed most of the Panel Puzzles already (the Zelda and Mario Galaxy puzzles look INCREDIBLE), so I guess the new additions are welcome.

Overall, I look forward to the eShop demos the most, but those aren't up yet.

Goddamn this place is dead. Needs more... Lighting.

Needs more... new Rockman. And not another 8-bit game either.

Anyway, this site ain't going anywhere, just wish there was some way to hype up the mood.

And even so, who cares?

Nintendo and their family-friendly image?

Now that I think about it actually, I'm surprised they allowed you to draw emblems in MKDS, considering they're know to cut down on "potentially inappropriate" content. Out of the hundreds and hundreds of online matches I've played in that game, I've only seen one [ray splasher]. Granted, they didn't give you much room to draw, so it's not like it's detailed/overwhelming.

... this thread is now about [ray splasher]s. 8D

Anime & Manga / Re: Fate/zero by ufotable
« on: December 03, 2011, 08:51:42 PM »
I personally wouldn't buy it unless it came with a load of limited edition figurines and maybe a signed poster. I mean, come on, half a thousand bucks for 13 episodes and soundtrack. Sorry but, fan or no fan, this thing is twice the amount of a current video game console. And even with that pricing, people complain.

The only 3D Classics I have is the free Excitebike. That will change.

Communities sound like fun. How many of us are actually getting the game though?

It would be great if there were at least 8 people in it.

It is a goddamn war!

Uh, ok...?

I know that obviously, I'm just letting Gaia know. He's new to the entire thing. Do you seriously think "war" is completely literal in all anime. There's tons of "war" anime with constant fighting and almost non-existent strategies.

8168
Don't expect non-stop action in every episode though. Or you'll be disappointed, especially for Fate/zero.

It's more of a patience type of plot, slow moving and very strategic. But when the action does pick up, it's beautiful.

I don't see anything.

Maybe japan does, but bah. Then again, I never watched anything Type-Moon. Might as well start here. Where can I find a good place to watch it, I have no idea.

I'll just start off by saying It would be a very bad idea to start here. References to the VN's everywhere you look, and will go past an average viewer.

Where the TM craze originated from:

If you want a good taste of TM, start with the Fate/Stay Night VN (Visual Novel). Lots of variety there thanks to the different routes and endings.

For Tsukihime, again, go with the VN. Another option would be to read the manga, which is a very faithful and excellent adaption to the VN; closely follows Arcueid's route. But be warned, avoid the anime adaption like a plague.

Or if you wanna watch anime:

- The Fate/zero anime seems to be shaping up quite well, so that would also be a good place to start. Introduces the previous Holy Grail War.

- Studio DEEN's Fate/Stay Night anime adaption. Takes place after the events of Fate/zero's Holy Grail War. It holds up pretty well, despite the later quality drops and boring pacing from time to time. You'll no doubt feel satisfied by the ending of it.

Lastly, there's the Kara no Kyoukai movies, which will confuse the [parasitic bomb] out of you if you're unfamiliar in the Tsukihime-verse. Overall the movies are top-notch, action oriented, quality thrillers that only ufotable can deliver.

Watched some anime called Colorful.

Random as hell, and honestly not terribly funny. There were some
scenes
here and there that made me chuckle, some will make you go WTF, but overall it's ok. Overly perverted, but not nearly as good as Kanokon.

I'm worried that once I start this game, I won't go back to 3D Land for a long while. >_>

8173
Not sure if this is old, but there's a nifty little website that you can access with the 3DS browser to look at 3D images of games. My personal favorites on the site being MK7 and the Orioto game artwork.

"Join Game" works for Mario Kart 7

I wonder if one person can create a lobby, then have multiple people from their friends list join for a massive race.

I totally called it.  Maybe Dimps should stop repackaging Sonic Rush every year...

Being like Rush had nothing to do with it. I heard that the levels were just simply boring.
