FMA, Brotherhood, [chameleon sting]ing FLCL, GiTS and Cowboy Bebop (never watched Bebop or GiTS, but I heard they're amazing). Looks like an awesome lineup to me. Bleach is easily the least interesting thing there, and more FMA is always great.

They could have flooded it with Naruto like the last time Toonami was still broadcasting. Thankfully, they didn't.

Uses same footage. :/

Well, voices are ok. Still think KH2 had the best voice acting.

What is the level cap for the weapons? Some guy on another forum said he came across a person with a Club valued over 700. I'm not sure how much credit that statement holds, because I haven't seen anyone online with a weapon value more than 400.

Only 6 episodes in and there's already so many theories and speculations thrown about. Who bribed the referees? How can Amon take away bending? Has Korra unlocked any chakras? This is shaping up to be a pretty crazy season. I think there will be only 24 episodes, I hope the pacing doesn't ruin the series.

Emotional episode. Nice in-depth look at Kiritsugu's ideals and actions.

Here's hoping the US gets a demo soon.

Nomura confirms in a Famitsu Interview that a demo will be coming to NA. "The demo will cover a portion of Sora's scenario in Traverse Town which features The World Ends With You characters, and also contain the co-op Dream Eater minigame, Flick Rush!" No one knows when, unfortunately.

Anyone still watching this?

Completed 999 with all endings some time ago. I urge anyone who owns a DS to BUY IT. Seriously, It has one of the most compelling plot directions out there.

Then I went on to beat Sonic Generations, and I'm not touching that again for a while. It wasn't terrible, in fact it's the best Sonic has been in a while. But the thing is, that's not saying anything. Sonic is hideous now, as we are all aware. It's an average game, with clear design flaws, most missions were dreadfully boring, and had forgettable boss battles. Some levels were fun, but only at the beginning. IMO barely any replay value, and console Sonic still remains to be shitty.

Now started Rayman Origins. Coolio so far.

I just completed Sonic Generations. Replayed a bit of Sonic Rush Adventure. I like Rush Adventure better.

The first few levels of Generations I liked, Green Hill, Chemical Plant, Sky Sanctuary are a few. But it went downhill from there. And the final boss was boring, not to mention they literally repeated "It's a homing attack!" 80 times over and over again. The best thing going for it is all the nostalgic music you could use during the levels.

Wow, so my post somehow came across as a life changing message huh? Frankly, I don't care what you do in your life. Just don't bring that [parasitic bomb] here.

And nah, I think just dicking around here is fine.

Someone's friend died, but nah you're just dicking around. Stop being an [dark hold].

Well, this is surprising.

I never took Nintendo for the type of company to delve so deeply into the 'digital' market. But I'm more interested in them allowing for old super-rare games to be available on the eShop like Shantae. I've been waiting for that ever since I heard about the 3DS' VC service.

So I was watching some dubbed FMA Brotherhood clips on YouTube, and realized how much superior it is to the original in everyway. Everyone sounds better, and the
voices
seem to fit better with the
action
(the links are spoilers, but they are the best examples I can give). Same goes for the first FMA anime, FUNimation is just that good with choosing voices.

I might have to rewatch the entire series dubbed.

Dusk Maidan of Amnesia
Eureka Seven Ao

No Fate/Zero S2? I recommend watching Sankarae as well, It's cool so far.

Taking a break from Kid Icarus, so I can focus on 999 (DS), a visual novel/puzzle game. Basically, you and eight other people are trapped on a ship and you have to escape before nine hours is up. Otherwise a miniature bomb inside your body detonates and explodes (yep...) 6 Endings total, and I've obtained 3 so far. I'm on my 4th playthrough, then I'm on to get the Coffin Ending and finally, the True Ending.

I got the Submarine Ending first, playing the game at midnight (Although thrilling, It was reaaally haunting). My heart felt like It was jumping out of my chest when my character was suddenly stabbed in the back as I was climbing down to the Submarine. I really can't explain how scary it is. The explicit descriptions in this game, seeing everyone around you dropping like flies, It's no wonder why It's rated M.

Like every person I've heard about this game from, It is absolutely fantastic. Phoenix Wright and TWEWY are the only other DS games that I can think of that had phenomenal story direction and dialog. It's more so a visual novel than a puzzle game.

If I were to complain about something, I'd say some of the characters haven't grabbed my attention, as it is the eerie and creepy environment of the ship you're trapped on. The more endings you get, the more that's revealed about a character's background. There's a sequel for the 3DS and Vita coming out soon, so I look forward to that.

I'm actually diggin' this zone. I'm glad those looping warp rings made an appearance, only they're less loopy than before. First Act of this seemed boring to me.

DASH / DASH Album may lead to the release of the Prototype?
« on: April 24, 2012, 03:52:52 AM »
Huge grain of salt, obviously. From Protodude's RM Corner comes an... interesting story. Singer, Reika Morishita, plans to show support for the MegaMan community by releasing her soundtrack, reprising her two DASH theme songs.

Quote
To support our community, she is going to release her Mega Man Legends soundtrack reprisals at the end of May or early July, tentatively. During the meeting yesterday, she said that if her new soundtrack makes over 20,000 sales, Capcom Japan is likely to release the Mega Man Legends 3 Prototype Version on the e-shop. Although there are no guarantees, keep in mind she is a well-networked individual.
