Those BioShock Infinite parodies remind me that I've yet to collect all the Voxophones. Now I have to start the whole game over and make sure I collect 79 of them. At least it's fairly short.

Well, in the movie Killian set up The Mandarin as a big deal and conceal the truth he himself was the actual bad guy. To the American public, The Mandarin was expected to be some big deal. Sound familiar? The Director and studio wanted the audience to feel the same way as the government in Ironman 3 by advertising The Mandarin as the big bad and barely even show Killian in the trailer.

Yeah, I understand Killian's reason for creating "Mandarin". But I'm saying it was a idiotic move, considering it was a smack in the face to comic fans.

Don't get me wrong, plot-wise it works. But considering that the Mandarin is one of Tony's biggest [tornado fang]ing threats in the comics, they literally took that respect and admiration that people had for him and threw it out the window.

The Mandarin is portrayed as a genius scientist and a superhumanly skilled martial artist. However, his primary sources of power are ten power rings that he adapted from the alien technology of a crashed space ship. Each ring has a different power and is worn on a specific finger.

That's how Mandarin is supposed to be. And going by Thor, Avengers etc., this film should be no stranger to the above description.

But that aside, I personally felt the terrorist thing worked well. Sure, he may have looked a bit silly, but I was hoping to see a serious threat from him like Loki's army from Avengers.

They made such a big deal about him in the trailers and then we got... this.

Well, call me picky but seeing it in 3D would be much more impressive. I hate that I'd have to settle for 2D.

Went to the theater and saw Iron Man 3.

HUGE improvement from Iron Man 2. Hell, even better than the first film, dare I say nearly on par with THE AVENGERS.

Iron Man 3 has a shitload of cinematic action sequences, and very well choreographed too. Better than most super hero films, I'd say. Plenty of witty humor, although a couple moments were put in odd places given that something shocking happened towards the ending. I really liked how Tony had to go back to his roots, fight his inner demons and rise back on top.

Now, one [tornado fang]ing nagging thing in this movie: MANDARIN. He started off pretty awesome. One scene in particular, I felt Ben Kingsley pulled off really well, and it gave me chills. But let me tell you: DO NOT GET YOUR HOPES UP FOR MANDARIN. Seriously, I can't forgive them for the bullshit they pulled with him. I can't say any more without majorly spoiling it, but many will agree he is the worst part of the film, despite Ben Kingsley's great acting talent.

Anyway, Mandarin disappointment aside, extremely fantastic Iron Man trilogy conclusion and best to date. I will be sure to buy the blu-ray as soon as it's available.

Blurriness + 3D = eye strain. Well, 3D blurriness hurts my eyes at least.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3D Classics-style port coming to Japan next week

3D Sonic the Hedgehog is a port with a few modern tweaks. You can spin dash just like in Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sega added save states. Want to play the original game? There’s an option to turn spin dashes off and remap the buttons. Sonic maniacs might appreciate being able to switch between the Japanese release and International version to see minor differences when it comes to bonuses. You can even choose the sound emulation based on the Sega Genesis or the Sega Genesis model 2.

One other neat feature is you can switch between normal mode and a faux CRT classic mode (those old TVs with the screen bulged out). 3D graphics can be set to depth or zoom.
