Both.
That said I didn't actually play it. I watched an LP. Surprisingly the cutscenes weren't as long as I expected. I think the longest was maybe 4-5 minutes. The ending was only a couple minutes long. On the same note even the gameplay felt like a movie.

Personally, I could never watch a game like that in a LP. Same for BioShock Infinite

Those type of immersive games are best experienced first-hand.

Yeah, Uncharted games always have great adventurous atmosphere. But like you said, the story was a mess. I also didn't like the pacing.

Absolutely inexcusable, given the fantastic writers that Naughty Dog has.

i had AssCreed Liberation sitting in my Vita for about 5 months but it's a boring piece of [parasitic bomb] so I went back to maybe finish Uncharted Golden Abyss. Really liking it but holy [parasitic bomb] it feels long. Still not caught up to the flash forward used in the intro level.

I bought the Liberation Vita bundle on Black Friday. Still haven't played the game, nor do I have the motivation to.

I thought Golden Abyss is a pretty good Uncharted experience, though not nearly as great as Among Thieves. That game is something everyone should play. Abyss does indeed feel long, and I believe that's because it has the most chapters out of all the games in the franchise.

At the very least, I enjoyed it more than Drake's Deception, which I was really disappointed in. Among Thieves raised my hopes up way too much.

Might as well tell you guys what I am planning to do with Phi when the Resistance wakes up.

A while back, Phi "sent" her consciousness to an alternate version of herself, thus a different timeline.

In that timeline, she finds that most of the Resistance has fallen under Wily
and Tron's combined might. Archetype lost an arm during the battle with Obsidian. And according to what Phi has witnessed, it seems that Wily has betrayed Tron (instead of the other way around), and has gradually built his empire around the world, as what was left of the Resistance and the others weren't enough to stop him.

In other words, Wily has succeeded in taking over the world in that timeline.

In THIS timeline, Phi warns the Resistance of what she saw, and tells them that one of the crucial reasons they had fallen was because they were not working together as well as they should have. Though she can't go into all the details of what happened in that reality, or she might create a paradox.

Phi joins the Resistance, not as a fighter, but an observer of the events that will unfold.

While she can see into the past, the future is a complete mystery.

... yeah, sounds a bit rushed. But I'm planning to explain everything with much better clarity in the RP. This is just an incredibly vague explanation. This part will also explain what Archetype is capable of.

I wanted to run this past you guys. Be honest; is it crap or not?

Maybe.

Though if the Wii U delivers Netflix in sharp HD like the PS3 is supposed to, It probably doesn't make much of a difference, other than the luxury of having HD streaming upstairs and downstairs.
