(who's the judge again?)

(...I stated that in the See ya later thread. Due to my shoddy internet connection, I won't be able to play him for a bit.)

Last time I went to Comic Con, I used my 3DS to take 3D photos. Gundam models look so incredible in 3D.

The streetpass thing was kind of my secondary reason for bringing the 3DS. Streetpass didn't mean much to me then because I only had SSFIV 3D. So there wasn't really much incentive for bringing it other than 3D photos.

My art professor is the worst. I'd be more involved in the class if he didn't speak like he's falling asleep. Everyone tries to leave class as early as possible.

He's like one of those boring teachers you always see in comedies. I had no idea they actually existed.

Okay, so I know Sakura suggested starting with Soul Silver/Heart Gold first, but... X/Y looks tempting.

I won't have proper internet connection until Monday, at the earliest. Right now, I'm connected to my sister's Wi-Fi hotspot that she can utilize with her phone. So you won't be seeing me often, if at all, for the next few days.

Until then, if the Judge is needed for anything, someone else can take control of him.

Was playing Megaman ZX on my 3DS last night.

Darn the slightly screwy aspect ratio. The sprites looked slightly blurred and stretched. DSi was better. >.>

That's because the DSi doesn't stretch the pixels at all. The games look as good as on any DS Phat/lite system.

3DS mutilates the aspect ratio. And reverting the DS games to native resolution is terrible, as it becomes tiny.

"Adult" stories can also consist of material that most kids simply wouldn't understand. Material such as financial troubles, depression or the values and hardships of parenthood.

Ratatouille is a children's movie through-and-through, and one scene revealed a letter written by Linguini's mother, telling the antagonist (I forgot his name) that Gusteau (owner of the restaurant) was Linguini's father. They basically told the audience right out in the open that she got knocked up and hid the secret of him being the father.

That's something kids wouldn't quite grasp onto, but the adults would go, "Ohhhh."

It's a shame you can't engage in a kick-fight with a cat. 8D

Almost missed my chance to screencap this. I didn't even notice I was this close to 100 days.

I simply refreshed the page after a few minutes and boom, "100 days, 0 minutes" staring me in the face.

So, now I'm in the triple-digits crowd. What do I win? 8D

Kusuriuri (The Medicine Seller) from Mononoke.

This is like my 5th time using him, though this one in particular is new. Most of the Mononoke fanart is pretty damn gorgeous.

The pics I posted in the Random Picture Thread is only a couple in the pile of fanart:

Okay, so I'm planning to update this thread with more pics. Some time in the near future, if things go as planned.

I believe most of you have seen this, but I'll just add it in as a sort of, record, if you will.

Yeah. It's a premium channel that requires separate payment. Due to that, they don't have the same censorship restrictions that reg. cable channels have.

Ahh, I see.

At the same time, I'd have to give AMC props for falling under the "basic cable" category, yet broadcasting a really a graphic show like The Walking Dead. Hell, even Breaking Bad had some surprising moments for a public series (throat cutting and melting bodies).

I don't know much about what exactly public television can allow, so perhaps gritty violence and other content that fall within the realm of "mature content" is not as uncommon as I initially thought. However, I've never seen strong profanity on any public channel. That much seems to be a sensitive area to go through.

Huh, I don't think I've ever watched an HBO show before. That explains why I'm so shocked...

Just watched some Game of Thrones scenes on YouTube; namely the gore and sex scenes.

JESUS. CHRIST. That was really unsettling.

They don't hold back on the explicit nudity or ultra-violence. One scene showed a little kid being stabbed; something I thought programs were supposed to avoid showing.

My sister told me about the terrible things dad has done before I was born.

Jesus Christ, I never wanted to punch him in the face so badly before.

He's far less abusive now, though. I wonder what changed him.

Heh. No.
I'm simply pessimistic.

I'm just kidding around, Tron. You know that... right?

If you go into an empty room, the room is no longer empty.  See, you have weight, mass, and you occupy space.

You matter! 8D

Science humor.

Darn you and your scientific humor! *shakes fist*

A World of Pure Imagination?

As long as I can avoid Willy Wonka's chocolate boat ride of death.

Nothing.
Because it's empty.

You lack pure imagination.
