Gaming / Batman Arkham Knight screens!
« on: March 06, 2014, 06:38:45 PM »
Behold the magnificence.

It's cool that we finally get to see how Oracle looks like in this series.

Also, the city will be 5x bigger than that of Arkham City.

How much was it, with the costume pack... And that extra case.

The game: $32.65
The costume pack: $1.08
The extra episode: $6.52

It lists the extra episode as $5.99, but of course, taxes strike again...

For some strange reason, Arche felt an odd tingling sensation crawl through his body.

"Whoa! ...Why do I have the sudden urge to order Chinese Take-out?" He blurted out.

... ;~;
How's the game? Have you started?

Well, I only started it a few hours ago; still on the first case.

But from what I'm playing, it certainly feels like an Ace Attorney game. Humor, pacing, cross-examination, music, etc. is just what I expect out of this series. I love it!

Although, I still have to get used to Phoenix's voice... It seems a bit too high-pitched for someone as seasoned as him.

Inspector Gadget Intro

Nothing but love for this!

Speaking of old shows... Anyone remembers AJ's Time Travellers?

Hmm, never heard of that.

Arche dashed towards Omega Joe and swiftly deflected some of the shots with his swords, which were still engulfed in blue flames, however, a couple of his shots managed to hit Arche and sent him tumbling across the ground.

"Nnnnghh!" He tried to recover quickly, so Omega Joe's persistent barrage couldn't get the better of him. Arche rolled away from the incoming shots and immediately propped himself up with his sword.

"I don't go down so easily!" He shouted as he continued to dash forward, lifting his blades into the air.

*PIIIIIIINGG PIIIIIIINGG*

"Twin Exorcist!" He slammed one blade onto the ground, creating a fire wave that shot out towards Omega Joe, and with his second blade, he repeated it again, sending out a second fire wave.

Any word on the Battle Royale setup?

Well, I'm still trying to keep most of my attention focused on school. I have tests coming up, not to mention I also have tutoring.

In order to set up everything, I'm going to need to draft all of the plot points and details carefully, especially since this will be more complex than the other RPs, due to battle royale mandating a checks and balances system.

Hopefully, it won't take too long to get everything together. But for now, I need to study and catch up on these assignments.

Also, I will say I at least have all the key characters down (the people responsible for creating the battle royale).

Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies

As well as the costume bundle, but I'm gonna hold off on the extra episode for now.

"Man, after all of these food monsters, I could really use some OJ right now," Arche muttered while redirecting a school bus that was getting too close to the fallen muffin man. Who knows what else might pop up from there.

Because Arche is completely covered in flames, all the crap that came flying from the monster didn't stick to him, and disintegrated almost instantly.

"Heh, sucks to be you guys!" He quipped as he landed back down.

That doesn't surprise me, didn't he only not voice him in origins because they wanted somebody to do a younger voice for Bats?

Yep, that's correct.

Although, I'm not completely sure why they chose Troy Baker to do Joker's voice in Origins. He almost sounded like Hamil.

"Got it!" Arche cracked his knuckles and flew up towards the monster.

"I always did like my pizza a little crispy!" If there was no commotion from all the destruction, there just might have been crickets chirping in the background.

Arche aimed his hands at the opening Sapph created, "Take this!" With all of his strength, he showered him with as much flames as possible. The beast started to bubble up and sizzle, and in a matter of seconds...

BOOOOOOOOM!!

>Getting excited over a trailer with no gameplay

Yeah, okay.

It's Rocksteady. You know, the same people who made Arkham Asylum and Arkham City.

The first of which is largely considered to be the greatest super hero game ever created. Arkham City refines the gameplay and weapon mechanics, as well as bringing an (even further) emphasis on exploration.

I loved both games, however Arkham Origins wasn't made by Rocksteady, therefor it wasn't quite as good as the previous Arkham games.
