Clearly, this thread will always have Pokemon discussions, for whatever reason, and there's no way of stopping it. So whatever, I don't care anymore. Go nuts.

Oh, and I've "fanboy'd" about shows maybe 50 or 60 times in total, as opposed to Pokemon being fanboy'd well over 500 times.

Talking about Pokemon once in a while here is fine, however, Tron's post is begging for a long discussion.

You know no one ever does, it's like saying you should put you fan boying about X TV show in the what are you watching now thread and we both know you won't do that.  No matter how annoying the Pokemon stuff can be at times.

If there is indeed a "What are you watching" thread, I don't recall seeing it. And if I did post in said thread, NO ONE else would post in it, because clearly, it's been dead for ages. It would just be me double posting for the entirety of the thread.

The Pokemon thread, on the other hand, is one of the few threads that are lively here, therefore there's absolutely no excuse not to post that stuff there.

And I'm not complaining about the name "Pokémon" popping up here, but rather the long discussions about it that's bound to happen. Talking about Pokemon once in a while here is fine, however, Tron's post is begging for a long discussion.

I'm gonna work on creating the backstory for the 999 RP. I think I have some time now to focus on it.

So I'm like, getting into Pokemon slowly, thanks to my friend. (Well, getting into it AGAIN).

I want now to try play Emerald again, and I want to make a nuzlocke comic because why not (or at least try to). I already know how to make one, and have a general idea of everything but one thing I can't find an answer for is:

Do I just use the first two rules for my run, or should I use all of the rules for my run. But it looks like shitload of trouble, and I think that altough I'm going to keep the "Pokeymen dies rule", for the sake of the comic (and because this is what makes the nuzlockes interesting), AND the rule with catching only one Pokemon in any given area.

However rest of them feel like they would just impede my progress.
Can someone give me a hand here?

Come on, Tron. Save it for the Pokemon thread.

You should know better.

Well, I'm a retard.

Yes.

Funny how Mikey, of all people, is wearing chains around his neck.

What the actual [tornado fang].

I personally never tired of gliding around Arkham City. If anything, I really started to like it after obtaining the grapple upgrade, which made travel fast and smooth.

Prior to the upgrade, moving around the city was pretty dull.

Batman Arkham City Soundtrack - Main Theme (Track #1)

I always try to post that theme when talking about Batman music.

(Those'll probably be endgame moves. Don't wanna be too OP, which is also why I'm probably staying away from Command styles. Either way special moves tied to the Keyblade will be Fire-elemental because of MechaGarurumon's elemental alignment.

Also these special moves are probably only gonna be used when HeatGabumon and Taylor are Biomerged into MechaGarurumon. When Taylor is on her own, I'll probably keep it to Fire and probably some weak attacks and combos.)

(I see, that's interesting. Can you dual-wield?)

(Asch and his fire-bending, Blue's Flare form, Arche's special flammable chemical, Keyblade with fire elements, and Fire-attributed Digimon. Seriously!? XD)

(Yeeeah, I know. Perhaps I'll give Phi an electric staff or something the next time we get weapons.)

I wouldn't call it too much to do... it just felt like busywork more than anything else for me. I kinda liked the way Arkham Asylum was designed better personally, Arkham City didn't feel as fun to traverse for me.
Yup, that's exactly what I'm saying! Why would someone call himself after an insane asylum / insane family? Kinda sillier than the other examples if you ask me.

Why would someone name themselves after an insane family?

Well, why would someone beat a kid to a bloody pulp with a crowbar and blow him up afterwards? Why would someone intoxicate their victims with fear gas and [tornado fang] up their mind?

Gotham is full of crazy [tornado fang]ing people. Perhaps Arkham Knight is no different from those lunatics. Perhaps he's sending some sort of message using the Arkham name. We just have to wait and see what his story is.

And if you want to theorize, it could be what Flame said, in that it could be The Joker in disguise. And although I find that a little unlikely, seeing as how Joker loves an audience, there's no way to tell at this point in time.

5 times bigger than Arkham City? Ehh... more empty space to travel with like 1000 collectibles to pick up... goody.

I loved looking in every nook and cranny for riddler trophies. You're seriously complaining that Arkham City gave you too much to do? Also, driving around in the Batmobile will likely make traveling around much more exciting than the previous games, especially since you'll apparently be able to drive on walls.

And either way, once you get the grappling hook upgrade to shoot yourself into the air, it made traveling from building to building pretty fun.

And hey, they're collectibles for a reason. They're completely optional.

Arkham Knight is a dumb name for a character, too.

A man dresses up in a bat costume and calls himself The Batman.

A guy dons a red cape and calls himself Superman.

ARKHAM KNIGHT is the name you have a problem with?

Probably since Mighty Number 9 is still in the heavy development stage while this actually has a real trailer.

That and also the fact that because MN9 has been the subject of so much idiotic drama, it's dwindled my excitement for the game.

"Okay, so flames and energy waves don't work on this guy. [tornado fang]ing perfect..." Arche sighed.

He stared at his blades for a moment, "Am I really that crazy to do something like this? ...Yes, yes I am," He said as he ran at full speed towards Omega Joe, and leaped in the air, "How about for something more direct!"

Brashly, he swung his flaming katanas down on Omega Joe.

(A very important note: Any hard impact from Arche's katanas will create an explosion, due to the special flames. So for example, if Omega Joe blocked Arche's attack with his arm, the explosion would push him back/and perhaps even damage him, depending on how vulnerable he is.)

YOU HAVE NO [tornado fang]ing IDEA HOW HAPPY THAT MAKES ME

Probably, it's just so weird.  Especially in the 90's cartoon, though I'm not sure if it's intensified by the art direction and/or voice acting.

I don't think the 'jackpot' line is weird, so much as it makes MJ seem like a [classy lady]. And in Spectacular Spider-Man, she pretty much sounded like one.

Seriously, she sounded like she wanted everyone's D
