"The Morphogenetic Field is an invisible force all around us, and very few people are gifted with the ability to access it. Well, if you can even call it a gift..." Phi trailed off, "That Field allows us to send our consciousness into alternate realities, enhances our mental and physical capabilities and grants us the ability to speak to other Morphogenetic users telepathically," She said in one breath.

"Yeah, I'm still a little confused on all the details myself," Arche said dryly.

"Anyway, Arche and I have the oh-so-wonderful privilege of being one of those lucky people," She said very sarcastically.

"You don't sound very happy about it. It seems like a pretty sweet ability to have!" Kit said.

"It's more like a curse wrapped in a pretty bow. I never asked for this. I never asked to be chased down like a wild beast for being different." Phi proclaimed sternly.

"Phi, I... I didn't mean to say..." Kit tried to come up with the right words.

"No, it's alright. You live with the hand you're dealt with, right? But I won't let it define me. I will never let others tear me down ever again," She stepped up to Arche.

"If you were, by chance, chosen because of your ability, don't ever think for one moment that it's all you're worth. After all, you are a hero, right?" She exclaimed, referencing their previous conversation about Arche's reason for shedding his violent past for a bright future. She didn't believe heroes existed. She still doesn't. But, she does believe in him.

"Now, don't let this sappiness end in vain, you big dummy," Phi smiled.

"Phi..." Arche stared at her and smiled back, "Right, here goes nothing!" He nodded.

He turned around and looked at the angelic behemoth before him. He steeled himself, his gaze unwavering.

When he was but a few inches away, the mech lowered itself and opened the cockpit, inviting him in. With a deep inhale and exhale, Arche climbed inside, and the lid of the cockpit slammed shut.

(True, but I think most of use were also sleeping while she was talking to Kaitlyn.  While she is a leader of a brigade so far in this adventure she hasn't done anything leadership like for the group unlike Reva who has plans of action and Prospero who seems to be wise and know the area, despite his slight insanity issues.

Talyn would also count for her wisdom but her massive pride holds her back from being an effective leader, as seen with the with the boar situation.

Another thing is that Prospero and Reva have never once had a situation of prejudice or distain against another member, Luna still doesn't see beyond Prospero's lecherous moments, and while Sarah doesn't hold ill will against anyone she can be very harsh and point out a flaw without restraint, even if she didn't outright say it to Talyn she really didn't hide it nor did she want to because again she was concerned about Talyn's seemingly lack of discipline.

There's a lot of factors to being a good leader and just because Luna's led a brigade doesn't mean she's a good leader for the group because the knights probably don't have our quirks.)

(There's more to her than simply leading a brigade. Much more. As I'm sure there's more to everyone in the group. And she doesn't hate Prospero, she's just disapproving of his lewd behavior (remember, she believes the body is sacred), and him swimming while everyone was working hard didn't help his image, in her eyes.

But, that's just how she was raised; she firmly believes in strong work ethic, the sanctity of each individual and respects everyone for the most part, even Prospero, in the sense that he's not scared to hold back and can stand up for himself no matter what. She respects his strengths and she has to accept what she sees as his flaws. Because she's such a strong believer of principals, it's a bit difficult for her to accept the ones she's uncomfortable with.

And of course there's more to being a leader than leading a group. You need extreme patience, generosity, the ability to work well with others and acceptance of different point-of-views; the latter of which Luna is working on.

There's a reason why I stated that she completed the 3 Trials of Avalon; it's no small feat and tests how trustworthy you are, your stamina and strength of heart. She's not just a simple mage, and I don't see how the brigade of Knights wouldn't have quirks like the rest of us; they're no different. They're people, after all, so of course they all have very different personalities/views and it tested Luna's resolve and how far she's willing to go to protect her Kingdom.

And really, everyone in the group has the potential to be a leader, but we still don't know each other well enough, which is why Luna declined to being one; she has to prove herself to them, even if she knows she has experience with being a leader. Reva is the one with the map and knows the lay of the land, making her the most viable candidate, at the moment.

Anyway, sorry that this post is so long, I have a habit of getting invested in these things; as seen by my wall o' text response to Ruri about The Last of Us.)

(Yes, but I'd still say she showed some of those distinguishable qualities, especially considering that she lead a brigade of Knights in her village. But, I digress.)

(Luna was "leading" during Kaitlyn's introduction, yet no one said anything...)

"I agree," Luna nodded, "I think you more than qualify to be our leader, Reva. What say you?"

"It's possible that the machine picked up my "accent", which, obviously, isn't Australian, and calibrated the voice accordingly to relate to us. That's my best guess," Arche said.

He then turned to Phi, "What do you think this means? I mean, with us being the only two in this room that's compatible?"

"Well," Phi thought for a moment, "I'd have to assume our Morphogenetic abilities has something to do with it, but... I can't be entirely sure."

"That doesn't make sense, though," He stated, "This is clearly some sort of alien machinery. Why would they create something that conforms to the ability of select humans?"

Phi scratched the back of her head, "I'm still trying to figure that out myself."

"Maybe you're part alien?" Kit teased Arche.

"I assure you, I'm 100% human. I can't speak for Phi, though," He joked.

"Very funny," She replied, half-listening to them, "Well, the only way to find out what makes us compatible is to use the mech. Go on," Phi raised her hands and shoo'd him towards the mech.

"W-wait, hold on! I'm not just going to jump right into some strange, gigantic, alien flying suit!" He protested.

"You have to! Otherwise, we'll never know why it responded to us," Phi declared, "I'm not doing it because I already have a Gundam that caught my eye. This mech isn't really my style, anyway." She said offhandedly.

The mech turned its head and looked around the room. The eyes started glowing a bright green and a female-sounding-voice spoke out. The language was unrecognizable and simply sounded like jumbled up words. Then, the eyes glowed yellow and flashed on and off.

A few seconds went by before Arche got the nerve to speak up, "What do you think it's doing right now?"

LANGUAGE DETECTED. Translation status: English, its grand voice suddenly bellowed out.

Arche stood there speechless as the behemoth made a whirring sound and a beam of white light projected from its eyes, cascading upon each individual in the room, one by one.

"I don't like this..." Phi timidly said, but tried to stay calm.

"That makes two of us!" Arche responded, the mech's eyes continuing to scan everyone.

Incompatible subject - Error The mechanical voice called out as it scanned Zeta. It continued to scan more people, Incompatible subject -Error, Incompatible subject - Error It echoed over and over again like a broken record. That is, until it scanned Phi.

The mech made a strange deep groaning noise, almost sounding like a rumbling hungry stomach, finally followed by a click.

COMPATIBLE SUBJECT DETECTED - 3026, it cried out, finally facing Arche for last.

"I'm... compatible? For what?" Phi said with a trailing voice.

Arche gulped as the gigantic piece of metal looked down right at him, and scanned. Once it finished, it made the same bizarre groaning noise and clicked.

COMPATIBLE SUBJECT DETECTED - 6870

"Wha..." Was all Arche could manage to muster at the awe of this machine.

The eyes turned back to a bright green, which seemed to be the default color.

"Why are Arche and I the only ones compatible...? It... couldn't be...." Phi audibly speculated amongst herself.

ONLY ONE USER PER UNIT MAY COMANDEER THE GST. THAT USER'S DATA WILL BE CONFIGURED INTO THE GST, MAKING IT INOPERABLE TO ANY OTHER COMPATIBLE SUBJECT, it proclaimed very loudly.

Luna took out her dagger and started to cut out some of the boar's meat.

"Oh, I see we already have a spit!" She exclaimed joyously and impaled the meat with a stick. She placed the meat on the spit over the fire and slowly turned the handle to roast it.

(The huge ass meteor was in the corner of the room the entire time? XD)

"Heh, I was just about to ask why you randomly had a meteor in your workplace." He said dryly.

Arche walked towards the lifeless rock and ran his fingers across the bumpy surface. There were some cracks in the meteor and something white was barely visible from inside it.

"What is that? That isn't a mech, is it?" He curiously paced around the huge rock, when something started to glow from inside.

"Wha-" Suddenly, the the cracks in the meteor grew larger, then BOOM! Dirt and rocks shot out from every direction, miraculously missing everyone in the room.

"HOLY [parasitic bomb]!!" Arche yelped and backed away from the debris. When the smoke cleared, a huge mech stood before him. It was a bit like a Gundam, but clearly had noticeable differences. It had no legs, and instead, hovered in place. The structure of the machine was also different from the Gundam's general design. The towering giant almost seemed alive, and creepily, the head looked down and appeared to be scanning the room.

"What in the...?" Phi gasped.

"Fxeni, wh-what the hell is going on?!" Arche cried out.

"If you know what you're doing hunting is actually pretty easy." Sarah noted.

"Well, I wouldn't really know. The most "hunting" I've done is catch fish..." Luna sighed.

As I understand it, supplements, in this case, are backstories/origins of characters or events.

This topic will be used to freely post about your character's humble beginnings, add-on to a plot point you want to further flesh out, create summaries of certain locales, etc.

As a suggestion, it may be best to write the name of the RP that your post refers to.

Annnnd nothing much more to say, really!

Enjoy, go nuts and all that.

(Luna is wearing a short skirt, so she doesn't have pants, either. Put something on, people! XD)

"On second thought he'd probably protect it from pants and we'd all be pantsless," she added.

(I suddenly envisioned a scene of Pyro at the beach, stealing the mostly-female group's pants, followed by a high-pitched "Yaaaaaaaaaah!" from all of them.

I knew all that damn ecchi I watched long ago would screw with my thought process. >_>)
