It's still really awkward to have to do that even then, it feels awkward that I have to do that.

Yeah, I guess I can see it being a little embarrassing.

My ex did that, on occasion.

Chris, did you you not watch the gameplay demo? The camera in the running segment is jittery as all [tornado fang] and the gameplay is like a watered-down version of Ratchet & Clank.

I'm not lucky, its release-day delivery.

As for Ace Attorney, still on JFA. I've got a bunch of other games to work on too. I'm mainly buying Wright vs. Layton now so I don't have to potentially miss out on a physical copy.

JFA is the worst in the series (dat last case though), hurry up with that and move on to T&T, the far superior game... once you've done some of those other games, of course. I understand having backlog issues, I'm in one right now.

And huh, I didn't know you were getting vs. for the same reason as myself.

Trust me, I've seen people go "I thought this was blah blah blah" because they grabbed the 3D version instead of the regular blu-ray. Never older people though, always younger dumbfucks.

That's just sad.

Sarah fell off the monster from the shock and landed on one knee herself.  She remembered what Prospero said about the elemental runes and thanked her Master for carving them or else she would have been in worse shape.

"Luna......" Sarah gasped "I need some healing, the monster is not yet slain."

"Thank the Gods you're alright," Luna sighed as Reva regained consciousness, "Rest for a bit, if you have to. Sarah and I can handle this."

Luna then ran to Sarah's aid, "Cura!" The same green energy surrounded Sarah.

Layton vs. Wright is shipping.

Oh boy oh boy.

I'm assuming my copy will ship out tomorrow, since the release date is 8/29. You're lucky it shipped out a day early.

How far did you make it in the Ace Attorney series, anyway?

Anyway, I recall Phi talking about how the boxart for Cap 2 looked awful (Being generic Angry/constipated looking dude by himself doing something action-y on an empty background and all). This is true and all, but I just don't like most american boxart at all it seems. Most DVDs look [tornado fang]ing lazy (literally just the movie poster or something with all the crap at the bottom cut out, while the Blu-Ray get some fancier box with a new image or whatever), everything has goddamn borders, its so ugly.

DVD cases these days are cheap as hell too, they're like the flimsiest plastic ever, not helped by having the [tornado fang]ing Recycling logo cut out to be all "Economically friendly" or whatever, they feel like they don't do the job of protecting the disks inside.

Anyway, I got way off point here. I was looking at the boxes for the US Ghibli Blu-rays, and on top they have a border to signify that its Blu-Ray (because americans are retarded apparently and can't tell that the case is smaller, bluer, and ALREADY [tornado fang]ing SAYS BLU-RAY ON IT), they additionally have TWO MORE [tornado fang]ing BANNERS on it, pushing the nice artwork into a much smaller space than it deserves.

Its like Graphic design is lost on people who make coverart in the US, [tornado fang].

edit: i love having to re-edit posts because i'm an idiot who can't read.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed that cases have been getting cheaper and cheaper. At least they're not meant to be fumbled around with; just put 'em on a shelf for the sake of a collection.

Honestly, for the blu-ray thing, I guarantee you many older adults and parents would confuse the DVD boxes with Blu-ray, if not for the constant labeling. I'm not defending it, but I know some old(er) folks would be oblivious to the differences and buy the wrong thing.

And the movie industry needs to revert back to a time where posters made sense, were artistic and aesthetically pleasing to look at.

I'm pretty tempted to just compile a list of things I don't like.
It seems like it could be fun.

I'm well aware that its just your opinion. Its kind of sad that TAS is the only animated Batman series you actually enjoy without an "eh" attached to it though. From what I saw I liked Brave & the Bold, serious batman is good, but there's nothing wrong with the sillier stuff.

Beware looks like [parasitic bomb] though, but that might be something everybody agrees with.

That's because Batman, as a TV franchise, has gotten worse and worse.

The New Adventures of Batman, for the most part, did have the same atmosphere as TAS, and it was great. Just not quite as solid as its predecessor and the episodes weren't as consistently good. Simplified character designs didn't help, but that's more of a peeve. That doesn't mean I disliked it; I was quite proud of it as a Batman series.

Beyond was fine for what it was; how would an old-school vigilante adapt to a world where technology has advanced so rapidly. It has a great concept, but the episodes, in general, haven't really grabbed me. It's a fun watch, sure, but it's never made me go "Woah" like TAS has with its symbolism and moralistic undertones.

The Batman was actually very solid when Bats worked alone and the show had potential. But when Batgirl tagged along? [tornado fang] that.

The silliness of Brave and the Bold isn't what turned me off, it was the repetition. Particularly in the earlier seasons, the fights just weren't that clever. All I saw was a marketing strategy for kids merchandise, what with each episode having a new colorful villain and half of them being defeated in similar ways; with a comic book "POW" punch. It's like they didn't try.

Later on, the show did get interesting, and had some great episodes, however, it was canceled when it got good.

Beware is... decent. I hate how the CG looks, but the fighting is actually very well choreographed. It's worth a watch for a couple or so episodes, but if you don't like it, the later episodes don't really get any better.

... What?

I said Brave and the Bold wasn't my cup of tea, and I'm FAR from the only person that shares that opinion. Beyond was good, but compared to TAS, it's mediocre in comparison. That's my opinion.

Brave and the Bold wasn't my cup of tea. The one episode I really enjoyed, though, was "Chill of the Night". In fact, most people do.

No, it doesn't involve Mr. Freeze, but rather Joe Chill, the man who murdered Bruce's parents. While most episodes of the series are cheesy and wacky, this was one of the few that was straight-out serious.

The episode was written by Paul Dini, so you know it's quality stuff.

Luna ran up to the giant to provide distraction, but didn't make it in time to stop Reva from being knocked out cold, "NO, REVA!" She thrusted her blade into the gap of the giant's armor. He groaned out in pain and took his focus off of Sarah, directing it towards Luna instead. The giant swung his blade at her, which she rolled out of the way in time.

Luna dashed towards Reva's unconscious body and placed a gentle hand on her forehead, "Curaga!" She yelled as a green light cascaded Reva. Luna had to be careful not to use powerful spells like Curaga too often, for the sake of preserving her energy.

"Please, Reva, wake up!"

(We're fighting this?) 8D

"Oh Lord, look at the size of that thing!" Luna observed and got closer to it, "Well, the bigger they are..." She aimed two fingers at the Iron Giant, "Thundara!!" Lightning bolts struck him, but didn't seem to be that effective.

(Dear God, I hope so.)

"This does not look good! Prepare yourselves!" Luna assumed a fighting stance with her sword drawn, in case the shadow moved in closer to them.
