I survive without these "so-called" online updates. Ever since the Genuine Advantage Validation thingy has been more strict and more bothersome (I had no problem being validated a couple of months ago), I just decide not to update on my latest formatted installation. So far, everything I use runs WAY faster than I could imagine, but my lappy-chan is still overheating because of being Acer Aspire. ;w;

You have to enter the BIOS of your laptop by pressing a key at the start-up screen, usually DELETE, F2 or something else mentioned on the screen. From there you should look into the boot-up sequence settings and see if a CD/DVD drive is set as the 1st boot-up device and the Hard Drive being the 2nd boot-up device. You should have a Windows XP OS CD ready, so place that in the CD Drive and restart your laptop.

You will be see some text saying you should press any key (yes, the any key) to start the Windows XP installation process. A blue screen with a bunch of stuff will load and after that, you will be asked if you want to format your hard drive before installing Windows XP. Do it and then begin installing the OS.

You should pick NTFS file system so that you can store a single file that's larger than 4 GB on the hard drive. Quick Formatting is perfectly fine too if that option is available. Finish things up and when the OS installation is finished, restart the laptop and wait for more instructions.

You don't have to press any keys this time. XD

If you can format the drive and install Windows XP on it, go for it.
If not, go buy a new laptop. This thread might help. ^^

Please tell me that the Wind Waker (USA I hope) disc is clean. And do you ship to Europe?

Gaming / The Soul Edge/Blade/Calibur Thread
« on: April 17, 2009, 10:18:25 PM »
I didn't see it anywhere, so please post in here~

The Games:
- Soul Edge / Soul Blade (Arcade, Playstation) 1996-1997
- Soul Calibur (Arcade, Dreamcast, Xbox Live Arcade) 1998-1999, 2008
- Soul Calibur II (Arcade, Gamecube, Playstation 2, Xbox) 2002-2003
- Soul Calibur III (Arcade, Playstation 2) 2005
- Soul Calibur IV (Playstation 3, Xbox 360) 2008
- Soul Calibur Legends (Nintendo Wii) 2007-2008
- Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny (Playstation Portable) 2009
- Soul Calibur V (Playstation 3, Xbox 360) 2012

If you want to learn some detailed and very adorably funny things about Soul Calibur IV, you should read this comic~

What do you think of this comic? And what do you like about the games in general?

In the games that I played at least, I love the world-traveling mode where you beat opponents in different ways and unlock new things that way. And I also like the Character Creation mode in the last few games (especially the fourth Calibur game). PB has been so kind enough to make a lot of characters for many of us RPM members, and that made me love Soul Calibur IV more and more.

I love the whole series, and the first 3 games (Edge, Calibur 1 and 2) are the games I still play since I have access to those games and the consoles they were released for.

Since I'm in a Soul Calibur mood (PB and Cephi knows why), I'm going for a Cassandra avatar rotation (PB and Cephi knows why). 0v0

Most of the avatars are in a silly cute style that I myself love to draw (RPM might know why). >U< :cookie:

I guarantee Morrigan's sprite would not have changed.

It's tradition to keep it that way~

before EVO.

There's your connection, everyone. ^^
Then again, EVO mentions they'll use the Dreamcast version.

I still don't see why everyone says Rockman & Forte has the hardest Castle stages.
Can't you handle 4 bosses in the same stage? >U<

If I can beat Rockman 1 and Rockman & Forte without dying all the way, so can you.

I can admit though, that Wily in Rockman 7 "can" be a pain, because avoiding attacks takes some specific sliding and jumping techniques.
1 or 2 E Cans should be good enough against him.

I do say, that is something I can marvelously support, good sir. ^^

PB has taught me to poke fun at the black stereotype in a polite way though.
How I do it is subtle though. XD

Insane crazy immaturity does seem to win a lot of internets lately.
Twisted comedy that wins millions of hearts.
It's called no-brain humor and everyone on youtube seem to like it.
It's the next big hit on internets. Stupidity on internet is, like, so popular.

tl;dr... ooooooh, THAT Fred... >U<

Oh, don't forget shows like [Bumpity-Boom!].
