I never had a (alcoholic) drink or smoke in my whole life. I don't see the point.

By コック over at Pixiv (Yes, no witty comment this time... -_-).

If it was called フレイムコック, it would be funnier. >U<

PS: Vixy uses Model V(ile). She also sports a rocket launcher in her normal state.

The rocket launcher sounds good.
But I wanted a Model N(ana) or a Model A(lia). >U<

I suggest that everyone gives the EXE and Shooting Star series a second chance. They really are great games, have fun stories, interesting characters and great music. You don't have to collect everything if that makes you tired. And the secret bosses are fun to fight against too. ^^ </wii>

I wanted to find time to look all over the internet and see what's happening on both the Japanese and English sides of the Rockman/Mega Man community, so from today and once every week (hopefully then or whenever possible), I will find some interesting things to collect and later post about them here. And yea, I'll be posting good things about our affiliate sites too, when there are things to discuss, plus other websites or blogs that are Rockman-related. ^^

For now I have something for everyone.

About 5 days ago, our friendly Japanese blogger Tarbo-san (also known for running the Cocorog blog), has posted
2 video clips on Youtube about Rockman EXE music
. What's so special with these music tracks is that they are the Main Themes from as many of the games in the series, composed with the Nintendo DS game Daigasso! Band Brothers DX.

The songs that are composed on Band Brothers DX are listed here:
- Battle Network Rockman EXE (GBA)
- Rockman EXE WS (WSC)
- Rockman EXE Transmission (GCN)*
- Battle Network Rockman EXE 2 (GBA)
- Battle Network Rockman EXE 3 (White)/Black (GBA)
- Rockman EXE Battle Chip GP (GBA)
- Rockman EXE N1 Battle (WSC)
- Rockman EXE 4: Tournament Blue Moon/Red Sun (GBA)
- Rockman EXE 4.5: Real Operation (GBA)
- Rockman EXE: Phantom of Network (Cell Phone) !!!
- Rockman EXE 5: Team of Blues/Colonel (GBA)
- Rockman EXE 5 DS: Twin Leaders (NDS)*
- Rockman EXE: Legend of Network (Cell Phone) !!!
- Rockman EXE 6: Cyber Beast Gre(i)ga/Falzer (GBA)
- Rockman EXE 7 (TUS)

* Games that are crossed over aren't in the playlist.

It's not everyday you get to hear music from the two Japan-exclusive cell phone games.
You can download these tracks from RPM now. ^^

Zip Archive | Music Folder

Credit to Tarbo-san for posting about it.

The virus was in a "Neo" state. Get it? >U<
In X3, it was called Sigma Virus though. ^^

The makers of the "Compendium of X" didn't read other sources I guess. They might have just taken the source straight from the games. The games are still accessable (taking screenshots, publishing them on a book, and so on).

Think at that point of view and you see that someone in Japan messed up, not us. I mean after all, the source comes straight from official books, and the older books are hard to find now. The books are mostly about artworks anyway (R20 is a good example ^^). The publishers don't usually have time to fix every single error, so what you see is what you get.

I think that among the "newer" books (200X), the most informative books was RZOCW, CoX (not the doctor >v<) and even R20. R20 was mostly about artworks though and the RPM book isn't really a fully detailed book. It does show a little information on each game (not full guides though). Enough to explain what the games are about (with as little spoiler as possible). It only showed games up to 2002, and the Key Words (Idiom) we got at the end pages wasn't as deep and impressive as the list in RZOCW.

We do get some small hints about elements for the DASH series and a little back story about Zero, but like I said, the information was kept short, on a small column. Reminds you of a 200+ pages instruction manual, minus the button setup, doesn't it? o.o; </wii>

He's emo in the first game, but gets more social and open in each game. The other emo is Jack from the third game.

Now you too, can do Galaxy Advances (instead of P.A.) in this game~ have fun! :3
