It doesn't matter if you use password to get the items or find them the normal way.
If you don't give him the Hyper Bolt, those items won't show up in his workshop.

If you haven't been able to find the Energy Balancer, Rocket Punch, Rush Search and Rush Jet (and I do mean "if"), you will be able to buy them from him when you give him the Hyper Bolt. You can also buy S cans when you give it to him. ^^
But it's better to just dig everything up, and in one session too, without revisiting levels.

I forgot to answer this.
In KH2FM, they moved around a few things so that it would make the game harder or more/less balanced. You learn Explosion in Space Paranoids, right before you fight Sark and the MCP. ^^; </wii>

He's talking about retro games (NES, SNES, GEN, GB, GBA, and so on). You might have to get emulators that works for the 360, because I'm not sure if EXE files can run on it. Just get the external hard drive and format it to FAT or whatever is compatible with 360 and PS3 (I wish NTFS worked =o=). XVID-encoded video files works tho, I tried that a few weeks ago. ^^ </wii>
