Shantae is from Shantae~

The first game came out on the Game Boy Color in 2002, and it was one of the last games for the system.
Shantae was created by Matt Bozon, who works at WayForward. The game was published by Capcom.

You kick enemy behinds by slapping them with the ponytail, and she can transform into other creatures by dancing~
It's a side-scrolling adventure with beautiful backgrounds and adorable sprites, and the music was very upbeat. ^^
The music was done by Jake Kaufman (virt), who also worked on Scurge: Hive and Contra 4.

The drawing in my thread was me cosplaying AS Shantae~ ^.^

Have you ever played a game called Megaman X "Next"?

It uses the Xtreme sprites.

maelstormm was pretty cool back then. Delia was a good fit for the game too. ^^

I remember maelstormm had a sprite comic site somewhere. I'd like to read that comic again.

About the robot masters, they are just the old robot masters recolored.
Are there any new moves added to them, and are there new stages and new music in the game?

I like that the "Rockman Star Colosseum" works with 1 cartridge. It's less painful that way. ^^

I'm happy that just like Twin Leaders, there will be voice clips. I'll have fun ripping the music from this game.

Right, I found these examples all in one game!

Better hit that Carry fast, Meggerman!

I can't comment on Bag's pic as I'm not all that familiar with GB physics and such.  But the bottom of the first pic is the only one that looks exceedingly bad.

If you have good Carry precision, it's pretty simple.
And the maps are based on many screens pieced together, so it scrolls from one screen to another when you fall down. ^^

The game is good, it has single player with a gamecube controller, and it's very fun. ^^

The game feels pretty much like ALttP, with remixed music and beautiful SNES graphics.

try beating MM1 without Super Arm.

Visit Elec Man's stage again, use Thunder Beam on the blocks to the Magnet Beam. Use buster on CWU-01P. ^^

I have played 10 games now, including Rockman 9 and Rockman & Forte.

I have a few games suggested to me, and a few I want to play myself.
- Rockman World 1-5 (Game Boy games)
- Rockman: Battle & Chase
- Rockman Zero 1-4
- Rockman EXE Transmission
- Ryusei no Rockman: Denpa Henkan On Air

If you have more suggestions, send them here and I "might" play them the rest of the week. ^^
