True. Xtreme1 has the same problem, which you can easily observe by comparing the victory jingle to Xtreme2's (same music, different instruments).
Heh, I was just using the other link to illustrate a point about what a better 8-bit MMIIGB soundtrack would sound like! And yeah, with Xtreme 1 as well.

« on: May 18, 2011, 12:08:27 AM »I honestly see the problem with X7 to be not visuals or any of the models or environments, but a bad engine and overly linear stage layout. AKA bad level design. Mega Man games usually look pretty good.
There are many many MANY problems with X7. The visuals & models were not one of them.

I kind of made a combo set that I call "God Slayer" with him and Deadpool (It's consisted of accurate uses of Ultimate Web throw, with spider-sting, Deadpools assist, crawler assault, a normal web throw an web swing and lastly a Maximum Spider.) I only think this because five random people I played asked me how I did that combo and I showed them how online. It's....actually highly unavoidable if you even -start- getting comboed by Spidey. And I call it "God Slayer" because I added up the damage and it's enough to kill Thor twice over if I -don't- loop it. Needless to say, I found out a way to do four Ultimate Web throws back to back in an unescapable way. Needless to say, it's combos that would make any Spidey fan happy.
I'm looking at you PB.

« on: May 15, 2011, 08:21:17 AM »The issue I see with future generations of consoles, is that they certainly wont be getting any cheaper. As the technology becomes more and more new, and more and the consoles cost more to make, their prices will go up. And up. And up.
Wouldnt surprise me if some day in the future we begin to get consoles with the same price ranges as new computers.
Honestly, this is why I actually applaud what Nintendo did with the Wii. They held off on the high end stuff for now because despite what a lot of nerds/techies might think, HD Flatscreens and such were not as common as people think when the Wii first came out. They made their Wii Fortune, brought in a whole new crowd, and now HDTV's are totally integrating their way into the homes, plus parts are most likely cheaper to make. So now, they can probably make a much more powerful system for much much less than the $600 original PS3 asking price!
The real trick will be seeing if they can not only draw back some of the crowd they lost as well as keep the crowd they gained. I think the latter will be harder than the former. Wii shall sii though.

Let's see...giant E-Tank cushion (by Kotobukiya), E-Tank mug (replacing my BRS one for energy boosts), D-Arts X, final volume of the ZX manga (got the 1st ages ago but they didn't have the 2nd), last volumes of the YGO Millennium World manga (Except 4, gdmt), and TakoLuka.
E-Tank cushion is going right next to Mt. Fuji-kun cushion.
I really do need that mug!
Also, just some comics, Mega Man Archie being among them.
