I think what people are losing sight of here is the chain of command and the fact that this is really not a democracy. This forum, and most forums in general, are dictatorships.
Quickie or I can talk with Vixy all we want, and I will probably have a discussion with her myself since I did not know about the nudity due to the massive dump of images freezing my older computer (laptop was in the shop at the time). Know this as well: You probably will not be privy to the knowledge that is discussed internally. We could very well not talk with her at all and just call it a day, and you'd probably never know.
But the bottom line throughout all of this is that RPM is her site. Not ours. Hers. We just populate it. She, to be blunt, really does not have to follow the rules and there's little way we can enforce them upon her. It's the equivalent of a cop running a red light. Legally, they're suppose to not do that unless it's an emergency, and they do it allllll the time. LoL, I mean what do you expect us to do here? Temp ban her? Like She-Ra wielding the Sword of Protection, she has the power. Does she have the right to post nudes and the rest of you don't? Well...yes. Yes she does. And there's little to nothing you can do about it.
It's why I imagine that other forum was made in the first place.
So really, I don't know what else to tell you regarding this matter. Quickie & I can talk with her and politely ask her not to do it again for everyone else's sake. But trust me when I say this, I'm not losing any sleep over it at all.

While it's a problem without an easy solution, and the Equalists were rather extreme about their methods, I really think Korra should've at least resolved it through a speech or something.
I was also kind of hoping Mako would become an Equalist. He practically shares the same backstory as Amon's made up one. Would've led to a very interesting conflict of ideals.
Oh I understand the Equalist movement entirely. I was more responding to the fact that Amon wasn't a hypocrite, as much as a great villain. I agree that the resolution could've been better, but yeah time constraints. But one thing it did show overall was that the Equalists had the power of technology on their side to put them almost on equal par with benders. Season 2 could follow up with that. It's one reason why I think Varrick was introduced in the first place.

I would agree this with if I actually felt the growth of Korra was convincing. To be fair, they didn't know whether a Season 2 would exist in the first place, so Korra undergoes an unfortunate character retrogression.
For now though, I'm waiting for the war to happen and the stakes to rise. Tarrlok version 2 makes for a strange, somewhat redundant antagonist, but you take what you can get.
It's not so much a character regression. It honestly makes sense the way she is right now. It's only been 6 months. She feels she defeated Amon. She feels she mastered Airbending. She feels ready to be the Avatar finally and that her Dad & Tenzin are holding her back, which completely fits her character. Plus she's still just a teenager. At that age, teens feels like they're always right. Hell that doesn't go away till later on. Sometimes it doesn't. And what's awesome is that they're showing the conflict with Aang's kids because he wasn't a perfect father, or possibly that great of one.

Ardjet arrived at Asteroid Triple M and lowered a box containing Fxeni's replicator from it's hand. PBPB jumped out of the cockpit as Fxeni greeted her.
"YOU BUILT A COLONY LASER?!?" Fxeni yelled at her.
"I DIDN'T BUILD THE [tornado fang]ing THING. IT WAS ALREADY BUILT!" PBPB yelled back.
"YOU SAID YOU WERE WORKING ON HOLO-EMITTERS. YOU NEVER TOLD ME YOU WERE BUILDING A COLONY LASER!" Fxeni argued.
"FIRST OFF, I DIDN'T BUILD IT. SECOND, THE HOLO-EMITTERS WERE ONLY DEFENSE, WHICH WAS PHASE ONE. THE EYE WAS PHASE. [tornado fang]ing. TWO." PBPB responded angrily. "WE NEED OFFENSE IN THIS WAR. Listen, the Eye was an energy converter. After studying the data on the thing in ADA's files, we determined that it could be modified into an energy cannon."
"Then why the hell did you fire it at the planet, Peebs?" Fxeni asked, still peeved.
"I DIDN'T. SOMEONE SCUMFUCKER HACKED IN AND TARGETED SOME UNKNOWN LOCATION." PBPB replied, still upset.
"Well so much for the element of surprise. Now Wily II knows we have it and he just MIGHT come after it!"
"I'M [tornado fang]ing AWARE OF THE SITUATION, THANK YOU VERY MUCH." PBPB yelled back while agitated. The tension had risen from the severity of the situation at hand. PBPB then put up an image of the data she gathered on the hacking. "HERE. THINK YOU CAN PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN?"

It wasn't just that Amon was a hypocrite. It was that he was trying to control the city and get rid of the benders so he would be the most powerful. He was following in his father's footsteps. As for Season 2, there's a good chance they go back to the Equalists as well, but right now I'm enjoying where they are going immensely.
What I like about Korra is that she is not Aang. She's the opposite, and while her brashness and being headstrong seems stupid, it leads to a different kind of character growth for her. Aang's growth came from the fact that he never wanted to be the Avatar and that he had to master all the other three elements. Korra loves that she's the avatar. She's already learned all the elements. Her growth is that she has to mature AS the Avatar, not grow into it. She actually has to connect more with the spiritual aspect of being the Avatar, grow out of her black & white mentality, and so far they are setting it up nicely with what has gone on.
Plus, the new support characters are [tornado fang]ing awesome. I love learning more about Tenzin's bro & sis. I love Varrick. I LOOOVE the Twins. So far, I'm hooked.
