Captain's Log, Supplemental.

I have proceeded to unlocked Yatterman-2, also known as Ai-Chan, and she is a pleasure to use.  Beating people up with Hearts has always been a Protoman Blues fighting staple, and Ai-Chan is no exception.  I believe that's all the characters that needed to be unlocked.  Furthermore, unlocking all the characters gives you a 2nd opening, similar to the first, except for the inclusion of Joe the Condor & Ai-Chan.  A nice bonus surprise is that the Japanese Opening is included in the Shop after you unlock everyone, so the US audience can view it once they buy it.  Here's hoping for the included Anime endings of each character as well.

Okay, I finally unlocked Zero and I just got a chance to use him.  Simply put, he's fucktacularly fuckawesomely good!  LoL, at least I really really like using him.  He seems to combo moves very easily.  Zero actually uses his buster, and can charge it up.  Not as powerful a shot as Volnutt's charged buster, but still great to use.  Also, I'm not just sure if it's the AI that I'm fighting, but Dark Hold seems almost ridiculously easy to combo in.

I think fans of Zero will be VERY pleased with how he handles in TatsuCap.   owob

Yeah I didn't mention that cause I wanted it to be a surprise!  Lou and I saw that when we beat the game with her.

Why...!? The first season was the best of the bunch! Why did they have to go and do that...!?  ;^;

Now this I'll argue.  I always thought Zeo Rangers was the best Rangers, IMO.

If it is, I hope it has an Epona Mask so Link can transform into Epona Link.   8D

If no one here can guess what my Emblem was for MKDS, you should be ashamed.

yes, because only three people on this forum are fans of an 80's cartoon designed solely to sell toys.

So, instead of porting over and ruining new Sentai, they're going back and destroying the original Rangers series

You get a chance to try out Zero? He any good?

I haven't opened him yet on my end, but Lou has and as far as I know, he REALLY likes him.

Indeed, FOR SHAME!

Honestly, I totally would have done it if I had ANY skill in the game at all.  Since I thought Lou had a better chance, I wanted him to do it.  He let me down worse than Jericho!

Okay, now that I'm home, Lou and I got a chance to try SELECTURING OUR HEERO and battling online.  Now, I don't wanna lay out the jump to conclusions mat anytime soon, since the game hasn't officially been released yet, but here's my review of the Online...ahem...

IT. WORKS. [tornado fang]ing. FLAWLESSLY.

No lag.  No delay.  Nothing.  It worked exactly as we wanted it to, without ANY problems.  Maybe it was because Lou and I are some of the select few actually playing it right now, I don't know.  All I know is that I don't ever want it to change.  PB will be sad if it does!

Bonus points are that you cannot see which two characters your opponent is going to pick, and the stage select is random in deciding which person it chooses to honor.  It's so good.

Here are some pics.

The event was a lot of fun actually.  The line wasn't that long, and the majority of people their were decent, and didn't reek of much N.B.O. and other such things which make me never want to go to these types of events.  Some funny moments...

-We had a choice whether to do "Fight the Pro" or "Combo Challenge" and Lou asked me which one I was going to pick.  Keep in mind, Lou is one of the few who has ever seen me attempt to play Vs. type fighting games, so he knows better than most that I. CANNOT. DO. COMBOS.  OH, I'm much better at combos in this game, but really, he should be ashamed of himself for even asking.  FOR SHAME, LOU!

-While waiting for the match to start, I had an idea.  A brilliant idea, if I do say so myself.  You see, I had brought my Street Fighter IV Ryu headband with me, as a spur of the moment thing.  So, while waiting online, I tell Lou that what he should do when he gets up to "Fight the Pro" is take out the headband and ARROGANTLY put it on as he walks up.  Sadly, he didn't do it.  Again, FOR SHAME LOU!  On the plus side, I'm happy I brought it as I got it signed by S-Kill, who is really a nice guy.

-After getting the pic with Sato & S-Kill, I shamelessly self promote RPM to him, to which he replied, "Oh yes, I like that site. Nice to have you here."  Again, I can't stress enough how nice S-Kill was to us and everyone there.  Sadly, he said there's little chance of me seeing a Blues-only game.  So sad.  :(  However, he did say that X9 & Power Stone 3 are definitely among the most wanted Capcom games right now.  Probably in the top 4.

-Thanx to a button malfunction on Lou's end, I now have another Vs. series thing which I will never let him live down!  8D

Some personal notes from playing this so far...

-I LOVE USING TEKNOMAN!

-I do miss the character based themes in the game.  HOWEVER, the fact that the Orbital Space Ring's stage theme is CLEARLY
Better Off Alone by Alice Deejay
makes up for everything!

I shall post more later, probably when I get home and Lou and I try out the WiFi.
