I seriously hope that the controls are a little more intuitive than that video seems to convey.

Heh, I can promise you from experience that 2/3rds of the Wii Demos I have tried when at a convention have calibration issues.  Once it gets home, it's fine.

Eggplant magic perhaps?

Also, eggplants are nasty.

The demo I played was the 360 downloadable one, the one without the final running bit. I honestly really liked playing it, it played like Sonic Adventure, pretty much.

To be fair, I wasn't a big fan of the first Adventure game.

Again, I don't feel that bikes are the problem, as much as item balancing.

I wonder if I could get away with selling PB merchandise...

I better see some of the profits.

'Cause they're old and rackety and unreliable. I love old pieces of equipment like that.

LoL, they are still reliable.

You know, those old, OLD train models that look like bread boxes? And the seats are really small? And the floors are beige linoleum tiles? And the doors don't make the chiming noise when closing? And when they brake, it's extremely noisy. You could kill a deaf man with that noise.

Okay, sometimes there are trains on the A that aren't so old, but that seems to be a rarity.

Personally, I still miss the Redbirds on the 7 Train line.

TOO MANY [tornado fang]ing ITEMS. If I see any more new items, I'm not going to consider buying the 3DS for the next Mario Kart title. Get rid of some items, or, if not, at least enhance the quality of the items. *glares at Fake Item Box*[/li]
    [/list]

Actually, the Fake Item Box was improved, IMO.  In previous games, it use to act like a shield, just like banana peels & dragging shells.  With all the incredible unbalanced item issues, it's actually good that it can't do that anymore.  What they need to do is put the items back to MK64 standards.

Sadly, they're not going to though.

    oh god
That line is full of Brightliners. Those things are miserable and whenever they stop in a station, it sounds like Sharon Osbourne being shocked to death in a bathtub full of water with a plugged-in taster being dropped in whilst three cats are fighting over an air horn.

    LoL, what?

Not just item selection, but item strength as well.  Like you just said, the shells use to hurt, and now they do nothing.  The Red Shell was gimped beyond belief, as was the lightning, etc.  But, I'm convinced that's not going to happen.
