Soccer is without a doubt the sport that's the most milked when it comes to ANYTHING in all honesty. Worldwide.

827
Mexico, it's $6000 ($500 US almost exactly). The worst part? It was $1000 cheaper like last month and they suddenly decided to increase the price.

828
If that's US dollars that'd still be cheaper than here, and we're in the same [tornado fang]ing continent >__>

When I say it's literally double the price, I'm not exaggerating, it really is.

Holy [parasitic bomb] they're alive.

830
So, if I'm going to the US in April, do you guys think I'll be able to find 3DSs? No [tornado fang]ing way I'm paying double for it here.

831
Can't wait until I see the overinflated price over here. -_-

Thing is already literally twice as expensive as the US here. -____-

There's a ton of things left to discover with them too. The cast is nowhere near figured out yet and that's what makes me love this game.

Indeed. Although I know that whatever is found with my Ammy, a lot of Hs will always be there XD

Also, god damn it, I finally got down that Zero relaunch combo with the buster and the electric dive (heheh, god I love doing that combo->Rekkoha->DHC Hsien-ko's gold armor->DHC Okami Shuffle, 700-800 and I get the most annoying assist in the game too 8D), and then my arcade stick's B button gets [tornado fang]'d beyond what's possible for me to repair with tape anymore >___<

God, the hypocricy...it hurts...

A wha? Whats a crack pairing?

Pairings just for fun that don't need to make sense at all. For example. RMZX X Protoman Blues would be a crack pairing.

I learned that all things explode in slowmotion if you punch them hard enough.

You may have to be on fire for that to happen, though.

If you need to be on fire to do it then you're just not awesome enough.

Well, I do have a box full of Growlithe's with Flare Blitz in my HG, some with pretty good speed IVs too actually. No CC though. If you don't mind that part much tell me, I'm gonna be really busy these days though.

You do realize I will rise up and stop you as your apprentice to make you see the error of your ways right?

And you do realize you'd probably be his evil apprentice in this world? XD

Well, it's moveset time.

Assuming this thing would play like Marvel 3...

Mario (If any attack is similar to Smash then I'll just say which it is)

-Normals-
Standing Light
The punch that he uses when you press A in Smash. Press it 3 times and he will do his usual 3 hit combo. Hits mid.

Standing Medium
His tilt forward attack. Hits mid.

Standing Hard
His smash forward. Hits mid.

Standing Exchange
His up smash. Hits mid.

Crouching Light
His tilt down attack. Hits low.

Crouching Medium
A regular kick with long reach. Hits low.

Crouching Hard
His smash down attack. Hits low. Knocksdown.

Jumping Light
His neutral air attack. Hits high.

Jumping Medium
His up air attack. Hits high.

Jumping Hard
His backward air attack. Hits high.

Jumping Exchange
His forward air attack. Hits high. Knocksdown in the air.

-Command Normals-
-> Hard
He takes out a hammer, raises it over his head and hits the opponent with it. Hold the button to charge, fully charged it's unblockable. Hits high.

Down forward Medium
He slides like in his dash attack in Smash. Hits low.

-Specials-
Fireball (QCF attack)
Shoots a bouncing fireball to the ground at angle, the angle and speed depends on the button used. Hits mid.

Super Jump Punch (DP attack)
Mario jumps with his fist raised, if the opponent is hit coins come out of them. L version hits 3 times, M version 5 times, and H version 10 times. Hits mid.

Mario Tornado (QCB attack)
Mario starts spinning with his fists stretched out, dealing damage if he's touched. The button pressed determines the distance he travels. If the button is mashed he'll rise a little. When used in the air, the distance traveled is much shorter and diagonal, but hits high instead of mid.

Cape (RDP attack)
Mario takes out his cape and swings it forward. If it hits the opponent, he is turned around, but if it hits a projectile it is reflected. Hits mid.

Hover Nozzle (QCB Exchange)
Mario takes out FLUDD and uses it to hover around the stage until his water runs out.

-Hyper Combos-
Mario Finale (QCF 2 attacks)
Exactly the same as brawl. Hits mid.

Stomp (DP 2 attacks)
Mario jumps on top of the opponent, like he would on a goomba, koopa, etc. Hits high and can hit opponents that are on the ground too.

Starman (QCB 2 attacks) (Level 3)
Mario punches the opponent. If it hits, there will be a cinematic where Mario will jump, revealing a hidden block with a Starman which he will grab, then he runs toward the opponent and sends him flying when touched and numbers representing points show up, Mario then juggles his opponent the same way until he gets a 1-up (with its iconic sound of course).

I wanted to add a move with the SMB3 suits though but 4 supers is a bit much =(

-Assists-
Fireball, Super Jump Punch, and Hammer.

For this to work I think Capcom would have to use a pocket fighters art style for the street fighter characters

Ok that would be awesome. It'd have to apply to everyone though, including the Nintendo side.

Tournament results are generally a better source for that kind of data, and I hear that Sentinel really hasn't been over-centralizing too much.

He may not be winning tourneys, but he sure as hell is the most used character.

I wonder what would be better, keeping everyone in its own style like Smash Bros, or experiment with having everyone in a consistent style like NxC?

Anyways, will post my ideas later, but I'll just say, while making a Mario moveset I just noticed that he's pretty much Ryu already XD

Guns? In a Nintendo game starring Mario? Hahahahahahahahahaha

Even Snake wasn't allowed to keep his own.

It's not like it has to look like he's shooting bullets. They could make up some BS saying that he's shooting magic or something and modify the look of the attacks accordingly.

Gaming / Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City
« on: March 24, 2011, 05:45:57 PM »
I think this is new.

Quote
Rumors have been floating around for quite some time about Slant Six, former developer of SOCOM, working on a brand new Resident Evil title.  Today, we're here to officially validate those rumors along with giving you the very first detail on the upcoming title.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Hitting this Winter, gamers will be able to get their hands on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.  Our friends over at the Official Xbox Magazine have the official cover story this month, and while we'll list a few details, you'll have to pick up their May issue to find out everything!

    * The game takes place in 1998, a time where Resident Evil fans already know what's set to take place.  The title lets you enjoy the series from a new perspective, as the men and women who are technically responsible for it all.
    * Rather than continuing the zombie slaying antics of BSAA agents, you're taken back to the original outbreak "that underscored both Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3: Nemesis."
    * The game doesn't require any crazy amounts of knowledge of the past titles or characters involved in the series.  The title opens up to a "quartet of new faces".  Essentially, you're playing as members of the official Umbrella Security Services squad.
    * Operation Raccoon City is a team-based shooter allowing four members of the USS team to destroy all evidence of the ongoing outbreak.  Along with slaying the zombies, you're looking to "kill pretty much every survivor possible".
    * The gameplay is described as "dirty", and the series will feel much darker than it has up to this point.
    * The game features three factions that Capcom has stated make up a "three-corner conflict".  The other two factions are the US Spec Ops, who are there to repel the USS, and the "bio-organic weapon monsters (BOWs) created by Umbrella.
    * The USS team is made up of the following characters: Vector, Beltway, Bertha, and Spectre.  Depending on which character you choose, the responsibilities that you're asked to do within your team will variate.
    * Hunk, first seen in Resident Evil 2 as a hidden character, is the inspiration behind the USS team.
    * "Whichever team you play on, you'll be facing Umbrella-created horrors in between skirmishes with each other".
    * Zombies in the game can sense you in three different manners: sight, sound, and smell.
    * A situation is described in the game where Vector cloaks himself to stir up previously slumbering zombies to use against the Special Ops military foes.
    * Quite a few scenarios in the game aren't "all about headshots".  A quote in the article states, "It's about shooting the other soldiers - manipulating the, making them bleed."
    * The game will take you through a number of familiar areas if you're a Resident Evil junkie who remembers your journey to Raccoon City.
    * Operation Raccoon City, depending on how you play the game, will give you the option to "change the history of Resident Evil".  Not only will you have the chance to meet and interact with various characters from the series, but you'll even have the opportunity to kill them.
    * One of th mottos repeated to OXM throughout the demo was "Kill Leon".  It's also stated that if you choose to represent in the game as the Special Ops team, that you'd more than likely have the goal of trying to save Leon Kennedy.
    * Slant Six or Capcom won't reveal if any other characters will be playable in the title just yet, but it'd make sense to see quite a few big cameos.
    * The title will still see players relying on collecting herbs to heal from any attacks you may suffer.  You won't need to hoard any herbs, but they'll still benefit you to collect them throughout the game.
    * "This is not a one-versus-one game where you've got one clip full of ammo and zombies on you.  If you've ever thought of those times in an RE game when you thought, 'I'd wish I had a big gun', that's what this game is.  It's not fair to give people big guns, then take all the ammo away."
    * One of the pictures in the article showcases a zombie being used as a "meatshield".
    * Operation Raccoon City allows players to earn XP for kills, with these points helping you survive the onslaught, and to help to encourage you to anihilate everything in your path.
    * The XP will allow you to earn new abilities, such as Vector's cloaking skill, and new weapons.
    * Tyrants will most definitely be included in the title.

There's a ton of details listed above, but there's even more listed in the May 2011 issue of the Official Xbox Magazine.  Don't forget to be on the lookout for the issue to hit store shelves to get even more details on Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City!

Oh yeah, and in case anyone hasn't heard already, CV and 4 are getting an HD rerelease.

On Sent's defense (weird I know), he has a huge ass hitbox and not a single safe move, so he's gonna get hit way more often than Phoenix.
