It had Zain, and Geemel, and, uh, its own weakness cycle, and, uh, and you could summon Zero, and, and, you could do the SF techniques with any health.
...ok, yeah, almost nothing original. Honestly, I don't think Xtreme sucks (one of my most replayed games), but since it pretty much does nothing of its own there's not much reason for its existence.

It was, they‘re just not gonna do another one. I‘m pretty sure this was already more expensive with the whole doing events for 4 or 5 countries at the same time for it.

Well, the Konami conference is already much worse this year simply because it's prerecorded and the freaking "streams" won't work for me. However, look what the description on GT's "stream" says...
