Started Majora. I love it.

Great, just a note. DO THE SIDEQUESTS! You'll miss TONS of good stuff and pretty much the point of the game if you plan on only doing the main game.

True, Majora's Meh. I couldn't stand the first two hours of gameplay, and I dropped the game for good after forcing myself to halfway finish the first dungeon.

Join the MMX9 forums, if you want to just increase the numbers, by being a "+1" statistic.

But actually participating on the forums is another altogether. Right now, I have no such inclination, as I haven't seen anything that's really all that flooring. Plus the overall community sucks. It doesn't have the sheer quality of MMN, nor the pizazz and charm of RPM? What's the point?

That's...that's not saying much.

-There's more strategy this time around. (Don't expect EXE levels of strategy though)
-The Kaizou system is not broken and actually involves thinking this time around.
-Bosses are better IMO, but the secret boss is [tornado fang]ing ridiculous. (No flinching, inmune to ANY AND ALL status, WTF WERE THEY THINKING?!)
-Almost every card in the previous 2 games is here.
-I can't decide if the Finalized noises fall under the "normal" broken or "WTF?! WERE THEY THINKING?!" broken. I guess it depends on the level of the Finalized folder you use =/
-The way noise is handled kinda balances the Finalized noises, but it would've been SO much better if they handled it the same way in PvP than in boss battles =/

With this information form the Ngamer magazine, I command this thread to live!

- official title is TMNT: Smash Up
- dark, gritty graphics
- some real-world inspired locations: Manhattan skyline, unspecified jungle arena, motel roof
- defeat opponents by depleting health meter or via stage knock-out, much like the Smash Bros. series
- some context-sensitive moves
- no motion-controlled attacks, but there will be motion controls for other aspects
- levels change as you fight, start in one location and end up in another
- pizza restores health
- Peter Laird (TMNT co-creator) is writing the single-player story
- Mirage (comic publisher) is filling out the roster
- Splinter and the Turtles are the only confirmed fighters thus far
- 4-player online reconfirmed

Except for the cast this is really old for me, and I've already done all of my raging (in silence). Ever since this movie was announced, my expectations were the lowest possible. Now that information was released my expectations increased. I know that sounds illogical, but after this I expect the movie to be so bad that it's awesome (like Mario Bros or Street Fighter) instead of so bad that it's aweful.

Well, at least they kept the three clans thing in it. I do wonder, if they're going with the whole "different worlds" thing why have Rugal instead of Orochi? Not that I complain since Rugal is badass and awesome. Also, what world is Terry from? Engrish world?
