Oh, you think the creators of Pokemon can't come up with more of the things?

I don't doubt it, it's just that it's gotten ridiculous. Besides, every gen they keep making even more powerful legendaries (I'm not talking stat wise), and they already reached God. What can they do that surpasses a god?

Looking at your list, for example, I notice we've got two moon pokemon (Darkrai is totally moon based), but no sun one.

Darkrai puts you on an eternal sleep and haunts your dreams for eternity, I don't see how that relates to the moon. Besides, they're not exactly legendary, but we've already got Solrock and Lunatone.

What's wrong with more legendaries, by the way? I can't really see a problem with adding more. I guess it is annoying to have to keep resetting if you want one with good IVs, but that's mostly just a problem with IVs being bullshit.

It's not the stats, just look at this:
-Elemental creatures? Check.
-Man made golems of legend? Check.
-Giant of legend? Check.
-Invincible man made creature? Check.
-Ruler of the skies? Check.
-Ruler of the seas? Check.
-Aliens? Check.
-Ancestor of every living creature (pokemon actually)? Check.
-Spirit of the forest? Check.
-A wish granting creature (Jirachi)? Check.
-Whatever Rayquaza is meant to be? Check.
-Creator of the oceans? Check.
-Creator of the lands? Check.
-Creator of emotions? Check.
-Creator of intelligence? Check.
-Creator of willpower? Check.
-Moon deity or similar (Cresselia)? Check.
-Volcano deity or similar (Heatran)? Check.
-Whatever Shaymin is? Check.
-The boogeyman (closest comparison I could think for Darkrai)? Check.
-Creator of time? Check.
-Creator of space? Check.
-The devil (that's the most similar thing to Giratina)? Check.
-God? Check.

Tell me what's left for them to use =/

1000 Pokemon... And I remember when I was hot [parasitic bomb] because I memorized the Pokerap in 4th grade.

But that's a nightmare for the people like me that prefer to catch 'em all instead of having the cute creatures fight to the death

I agree with you, but do you honestly want 600+ Pokemon? They can keep making new ones while keeping the number relatively small.

Also, forgot to post my reason for why a GSC remake is so important. IMO, to this day, GSC is still the best generation for a number of reasons. The number of Pokemon was just right, there were plenty of little but nice things (Mystery gift, decorating your room, catching contest, radio, making your own pokeballs,etc.), the time and date was actually used for something other than catching different pokemon during the day/night, and the big ones, you could revisit the old region, fight the Kanto gym leaders including a now gym leader Blue/Green and different leaders, and fight Red in an epic battle.

You're definitely not in the minority, it's definitely gotten too big. I mean, there are over 500 Pokemon now and they even had to go as far as to make a (literally) god Pokemon, I dare anyone to tell me that's not too much =/

I'm of the opinion that if they want to continue Pokemon, then they have to start from 0 again. Make another 150/151 Pokemon, but leave all of the previous Pokemon out of the game because I definitely don't want to catch 600+ Pokemon =/

If not revive the tower, tuck a new yet-insignificant haunting somewhere, like how the Old Chateau was in DP.

Insignificant, yet it was great. It actually spooked me at night, alone, I'm easy to scare >_> Something like that would be awesome.

Nothing will ever beat the original Lavander Town though, that town scared you from the very moment you set foot on it with its music. I think it may have traumatized me as a child.
