Ok...this is quite weird. When I try the SFIV benchmark it needs to have the settings at the absolute lowest to even be able to get 60FPS, but with the actual game I can use higher settings than that. I have no idea what the hell is happening, I was wondering if someone had an explanation...I'm not complaining though XD

I think the ending was perfect, Hao was just so damn overpowered that it would be completely impossible to beat him for the title of Shaman King (I mean black holes, meteors, a literally instant kill, the guy has everything).

Ladies and gentlemen, here is Nick. Due to the lateness of it, I included a bonus mustache (for FREE!) that will give you that +1 in your sophistication stat that you always wanted.

Now here are Tea and Lazy.
Tea is sporting one of those umbrella things they put in drinks, replacing the umbrella with a tophat. Tea is really pleased because he managed to sneak into a tea party with all of the RPM women. The women are all engaging in "entertaining" activites, like pillow fighting, there's nothing more entertaining than a good pillow fight. Of course, if they find out that the tea cup with a face is actually Tea then he'll be one shattered cup.
Lazy is confused because he just woke up from his nap and is now suddenly hanging out with the highest class of society. I have no idea how that happened, it just did.

Now here's chibi Wily and chibi Vixy. Wily, I find your hair a pain to draw sometimes XD

Started as a doodle, then it was turning out good, and finally the hands [tornado fang]'d it up.

Finally, Karel v3. It's based on the previous doodle.

Current laptop's specs
2.2 GHz AMD Turion X2 Dual-Core Mobile Processor RM-75
3072 MB RAM
320 GB HDD
ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics
14.1” WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800)
Windows Vista Home Premium

So, how good is my laptop and what would it have trouble running?

IIRC it was one on the boat with Tomahawk/Napalmman, they switched the homepages for generic areas, and that's it I think. It got the better end of the deal when you compare it with 6.

Man, the gameplay difference between the two was so amazingly broken. XD

What do you mean?

But I luff wuff my emulators, doujin and flash games on my lappy-chan~ >U<

Oh, and for reference this is my laptop.

My parents think the same thing. I upgraded the computer anyway, especially since the old GPU got fried. I took the opportunity to upgrade the RAM too. The warranty was about to expire and I wasn't going to spend $200 on shipping to get it fixed, so I did it myself--and got a better GPU out of the deal.

Honestly, upgrading isn't that expensive. You could easily do it for under $100 if you know what you're looking for.

The problem is getting the money from my parents, it's free (for me) Laptop VS having to spend $100+ (again, stuff here is more expensive) to upgrade my PC. So yeah...

And what if I told you that the laptop is still the best thing for PC gaming I will ever have for quite a long while? My parents see upgrading the PC as a waste of money, so I'm stuck with quite an old desktop PC =/

Ah, I see someone else here is a member of the Glorious PC Master Gaming Race. XD

I hate how my laptop is brand new and a new model, and yet I still can only get 60fps in SFIV with everything at the absolute lowest setting. Anything above and it avarages to 20fps AT BEST D:

Also, time for a random thought. Does anyone else here think that not having a true successor to the PS2 in terms of diversity and depth of game libraries this gen has worked against console gaming? (In b4 DS is SNES 2 comments. XD)

There are many more things that contribute, but yeah, that too.

A Wii here [in the United States] is $250.

Yeah, but I don't live there. Every console is almost twice as expensive here.

Gaming / Re: Current Generation Consoles

Wow... So many people have a DS and a Wii. Barely anyone has a PS3. I'm guessing most people here are Nintendo lovers? Or does it have more to do with the games?

Half that, and the other half is that every console is overpriced here. The Wii is around 400 dollars here, now imagine a PS3.
