My entry for Telltale Game's 2010 Sort-Of-Halloween Arts and Crafts Contest entry page 1.
If you've checked my scrapbook then chances are that you've already seen the sketch I did for this a while ago, it's still pretty much the same but in 2 pages. Also, yes, I had to get the "based on" running gag in there ::

Dear lord, this took way more hours than it should have. I?m sure there must be something wrong with it but I just wanted to get it done int time @___@
Anyways, so ends my silly Halloween contest idea that honestly the only thing Halloween related thing it has is the setting ::
>No Breath of Fire
They considered it? DICKS
My god should we call him Phoenix Layton or Hershel Wright?
Right who's Edgeworth again, I never played the games.

Hey, why not draw your character in different outfits? Like spring, autumn, nightime, casual, etc...

I felt like trying to draw my version of human Sam and Max as kids, not much else to say I guess.
Well, only two things.
-I hope it does look like Sam's ice cream is melting, it's the first time I try to do that >.>
-I thought it be cute if Max was trying to set bugs or grass on fire with a magnifying lense. Oh yeah, and he's wearing bunny feet slippers.

I really like how Karel came out, cool pose.

A month ago, my design teacher told us all to design really, really simple characters (5 or 6 planes limit) that would form part of a story and then make them by cutting and pasting colored sheets of paper, and I'm uploading them now just because. If there's still any writing in there that I did or didn't notice it's because I was too lazy to erase anything after cropping the picture already.
This is Guy (no, I didn't spend more than 5 seconds thinking of names), his clothes were cursed and turned evil and now he's on an epic quest to get them back.

This is Dog (no, I didn't spend more than 5 seconds thinking of names), he's helping Guy get his clothes back, he's asking for a shirt in return though. He was supposed to be a Sam expy in a way, but I couldn't find brown paper >.>

This is Lord Pants (no, I didn't spend more than 5 seconds thinking of names), he's Guy's cursed pants, and he's evil. He thinks of himself as the evilest thing in the universe and likes to do evil stuff, whatever that may be.

This is Shirty (no, I didn't spend more than 5 seconds thinking of names), he's Guy's cursed shirt. He's Pants right hand "man" and is supposed to be evil, but honestly he's so lazy and cares so little about anything that rarely if ever actually gets something done.

I was wondering what my character would wear during the hottest and the coldest seasons of the year, so I doodled this.
For summer it's a normal swimsuit and the usual fingerless gloves. Obviously this is for the beach only, otherwise he's just wearing the same as usual sans the jacket.
For winter it'd be black pants, a white shirt, black gloves and a white coat with black fur or whatever that's called >__> Fun fact, his shirt is supposed to be tucked because I recently found out that I get less cold that way.
It'll probably wind up being a "friendly rival" kind of thing like with Edgeworth.
The final title announced at today's Level-5 Vision press conference was the event's biggest surprise. Level-5 and Capcom have teamed up for a crossover between Professor Layton (Layton Kyouju in Japanese) and Ace Attorney (Gyakuten Kenji).http://www.andriasang.com/e/blog/2010/10/19/layton_crosses_with_ace_attorney/
The new 3DS title is titled "Layton Kyouju vs Gyakuten Saiban." An official English name hasn't been announced, but just as a placeholder, one could refer to the project as "Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney."
What are Layton and Phoenix Wright pointing at?
Ace Attorney designer Shu Takumi made an appearance at Level-5 Vision to announce the project alongside Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino. Takumi is heading up scenario work on the new game.
Official materials released by Level-5 promise a game that that puts players up against puzzles with contradictions. The "puzzle" and "contradiction" theme are recognizable as, respectively, key words from Layton and Ace Attorney.
The game's story has Professor Hershel Layton and Phoenix Wright (Ryuichi Naruhodo in the Japanese version) finding themselves in a different world. They come to the medieval city of Labyrinth City, where reality and illusions are intertwined. This strange town is also home to witches, who hide in the shadows, and is a place where magic is real. It has also been home to a number of impossible occurrences of late.
The city is controlled by a villain named Story Teller. The story he writes with his pen becomes reality as the future of the world.
Layton will find himself faced with all new puzzles. As for Phoenix Wright, the person who seeks his help this time has been accused of witch craft.
The trial that takes place in this world is "Majo Saiban," or "Witch Trial."
The term "Witch Trial" will be familiar to those who've been paying attention to Capcom's recent Ace Attorney developments. Capcom recently hinted at an upcoming game announcement at the Ace Attorney portal. An image for the game showed a book with the word "Witch Trial." It looks like the identity of the mystery game has been revealed.
Level-5 opened a teaser site for the game today. The site will get some actual content tomorrow (10/20).
Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney is currently date TBA. Level-5 will be publishing the game.
