Anyway...
nogiho makes a lot of nice mega art. A lot of it is gay, but it's still nice.

Do you know how many times I was unable to share some really good art because it was porn/nude or gay? It's kinda sad. But it's still good art and I can enjoy it. If someone else wants to not see some good art, that's their choice.

Whats wrong with Eagle gettin' some?

I didnt mind what he did with Mammoth. It was interesting, especially the way he could repair his body with reploid body parts. Makes it a bit more body horror from a robot's POV. and a bit more psych horror for X.

Gaia:Not sure what you mean about Octopus flashback.

Great, you just made me think of Storm Eagle having sex...with his stage music playing in my head.

7/10 would mental image again.

Mugen? I wonder why they chose that name. It's already used in the fighting game community. :-/

Don't see why we need a battery extender if there is nothing wrong with its current battery life. Unless Nintendo REALLY needs it for better performance of their games. :\

Mugen means Infinite or Infinity.

Also, Nintendo doesn't need this for better performance of their games. How would that even work? You add a battery and you get better FPS?

4.4 is half of 8.8 Is this a sign about the Zelda coming to 3DS?

If it has Rockman and it is art it belongs here. If you are that unsure, post in the Reposted Picture Thread.
Unless "Touhou" is some kinda code for Pron. Then it doesn't belong anywhere.

The only thing worse than a glossy green or red handheld is a glossy black one.  It looks nice, but if you expect to actually play the thing, you'll be spending 90% of your time wiping fingerprints off of it.

Heh.  I'm half-tempted to sand the lid of my 3DS down to a matte finish.

If Cleaning it actually takes more than 50% of your time with it, you might have some mental problems.

Seems less like a game and more like an interactive Novel. Oh well, to each their own.

So, I heard Rockman PM likes Team Fortress. Well some cool hipsters made an old school demake of Team Fortress in the form of Team Fortress Arcade. Came out recently. Download it and you too can feel like a one hip mista.
I know, that was in bad taste...

In the spirit of Hallloween and all things scary, I've recently found a game worth giving some good spooks. It's Irisu Syndrome!, and it's a freeware PC game. I'll make a bigger post about it once I get a chance to the PC (I've been stuck using the Wii's Opera browser for a while with horrible rechargable batteries that last less than 20 minutes fully charged). I'll delete this post once I start making one for Irisu Syndrome!. Until then, avoid Googling it or looking it up on TvTropes, they usually contain big spoilers on the game's storyline (especially TvTropes' "Darth" version of the game's entry).

Irisu Syndrome! / いりす症候群!

Release date: October 2, 2008
Developer: wtetsu
Version: v2.03
Genre: 2D > Puzzle > Psychological, Horror, Mystery
Content: Graphic Violence, Disturbing Imagery

From what I hear on doujin forums, this game is one of the most disturbing games around, and so far I'm starting to become a believer (this game was starting to play games with my head). The basic story of Irisu Syndrome!, and the only thing you should know about this game's storyline until you start playing it for yourself (avoid Googling it or looking it up on TV Tropes since they'll spoil the story, trust me on this), revolves around four university students (from left to right), Irisu Kyouko, Edogawa, Uujishima, Ageha, and the events that follow them on their camping trip. One night of their camping trip, Edogawa tells a story/rumor that's been going around of a witch who murders people.

This is a physics-based puzzle game where have you to try and destroy blocks that fall from the screen and earn points. The game has some Tetris elements since blocks fall down and they progressively get faster and more shapes and colors appear as you chain points together. The game is played with a mouse; left-click fires a slow white block and right-click fires a fast gray blocks at the ones falling on screen. The game is over when A) your Life Meter reaches zero or B), blocks pile up to screen that no more can be produced. To really earn points, you must collide blocks of the same color so they break up harmlessly upon landing, and in do so recovers your life meter. Although the real puzzle of this game is the story; as you get higher and higher points, you unlock more pieces of the game's story through still images and the dialogue in them, changes made of a photo of Irisu's classmates, and text files.

An "enhanced" version of this game called Irisu Syndrome! Metsu (いりす症候群! 滅, Irisu Syndrome! Destruction) was later released at Comiket 77 but later became a part of the freeware version as an unlockable side game, with enhanced visuals, updated music, and broaden the storyline. Originally in Japanese, but people at the /jp/ boards made an English patch for the game. If you're into Higurashi, you might like this game. Otherwise, the disturbing stuff that happens might (and probably will) terrify you. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Is it visually disturbing? Or just the plot? All I ever liked in Higurashi was the girls, but the plot seemed to suffer from Citizen Kane syndrome and was horribly uninteresting/a waster of time.

Also, is there any fan service?

PS: Note to self: Make sure you actually write the reply AFTER the quote next time.

I wasn't being entirely serious. No one did give any indication of what that thing was, after all.

Seeing as I changed the filename so nobody could look at that to see what it is, it's mostly my fault.

Pointless scans time!

Scanned from Disney Adventures 11/2005. Also, something very exciting to me:

Decent-quality photos of a French game magazine called Retro Game; these were taken from a ZIP file provided on this page. Of particular interest are those sketches on the third page; they weren't in R20, for whatever reason.

Posted on: September 17, 2011, 02:39:07 PM

Taken from the Out-of-Print Archive. (NOTE: Those are two different images)

Check out the hilariously whiny and elitist second opinion in scan #2. I would've laughed my ass off...a few months ago. (Thought to be fair, I think that same person did like MvC2)

Wow, it's a pitty that magazine only came out in France. Are there any competent magazine scanners in France?

I'm really excited to see more of this. It looks like a great game, and would be hella fun with a good party. At the same time I'm pissed because I'll never get to play it.

Why won't you play it? Moral or religious objections to the game?

Well, I'm trying to have fun, too. I want to discuss something that's actually interesting (as I'm sure a lot of other people do), but it's difficult to do when threads with potential get bumped off the face of the board in favor of a bunch of morons screeching like apes because of a scripted get.
Are you sure you're talking about 4chan?

If the thread gets bumped off, that mean it was on page 20+. Which means it wasn't that popular to begin with.

It was always kind of a dream for me that the final Retro course in a Mario Kart game be a course that warps between all the past Rainbow Roads every lap.

And the physics change every lap.

Looks more like the MM7 Gutsman fortress boss. (note: he has that clamp)

The tread to body size ratio looks a bit off for it to be the MM7 one.
