No offense, but that's a pretty narrow-minded statement.  These trailers are showing gameplay clips in windows about the size of a PSP screen and even at that size you can clearly tell what's going on (hell, I *WISH* MMPU would have distanced the camera that far).

When people say that there isn't a "graphics knob" to turn down between consoles, they're referring to how the entire package (game engine, textures, models, number of objects handled during gameplay, ya-de-ya) is often too complex to be ported between systems of varying strengths and architecture; the pixel resolution you wind up with at the end of the day is a very small and easily adjusted piece of the puzzle (remember that the "HD consoles" are all backwards compatible with SD TVs).

Nothing I've seen in the trailer looks like it's taxing system demands.  The graphics are, as High Max would say, "not amazing", and 2D platforming physics are 2D platforming physics.  Shouldn't be much more troublesome than Sega porting Sonic4.  Frankly, I wish Capcom were taking better advantage of the 360/PS3 system capabilities.  I still wouldn't like being out of the loop, but at least then it'd make sense, and there would be the peace of mind that they're putting their best foot forward.  I feel that their Classic/X developments ever since X8 have been on the lazy side, visually speaking.

If the Wii's system limitations are standing in the way, it's most likely WiiWare file size limits that are the problem, not system processing/resolution capabilities.

To which I curse the mentality of platformers being "not valuable enough" to appear on discs, and applaud Nintendo for "playing it safe" and doing with NSMBWii what likely every other game company in existence would have considered suicidal (you gotta love how IGN covers this stuff).  That aside, I must admit, whoever thought that 512MB was enough space for a downloadable games archive needs to get ZEE UPPERCUT!!

It's up to the Developer what system they put their game on. When Nintendo is the only system they would have to downgrade it for and MM9/10 are already providing ample revenue, there is no reason to put forth effort to expand MMU to a console that insists on being so different that it doesn't try to be comparable to the current gen, in terms of power.

It's called oprotunity cost, and dispite Wii not getting MMU(or not yet) Nintendo still is making massive profits. Maybe their next console will be up to at least this gen's specs and Capcom could go back and port it then.

PS: Capcom, make an Onimusha game for Wii.

PPS: Make Zero unlockable.

If Nintendo wants to have the same games as the other two, it needs to have a system of comparable features. MMU is an HD title.

His point was that the comparisons to LBP are not because of the characters but because of the level creator >_>

I find the fact that the JP title is using Megaman instead Rockman quite interesting.

It seems they intend on it being an international thing, with Rockman and Megaman and BBAMM. So they probably decided to use Megaman across all regions.

Also, if BBAMM is in, we can hope for someone else too?

This looks awesome, except for when he jumps, it looks like he perpetually trying to do a flying figure 4 leg lock. I always thaought his back leg was straight.

BBAMM. Wow.

This is what MM10 should have been. MM9 was nice with the retro thing, but 10 was just more of the same, with Forte.

Back in my day, we played Megaman X with a keyboard at 75% speed and that was good emulation speed.

PS: I played it on SNES long before then.

PPS: Command Dash

And in celebration of me getting this working.

The dithering isn't really noticable in action. My only complaints are that I suck too much at this type of game, I have no idea which car to buy, the game always runs at 60fps/333MHz and that the analog nub provides almost no precise control at all.

PS: Seriously? 60FPS in menus? I bet it runs 333MHz in menus too. Why programmed this game? Next time they do this, they should take a lesson from the guys who made Wipeout for PSP. That game ran 222MHz and 30fps in menus and ran 222MHz in races with as many frames as it could do. There was no official option for 33MHz/60FPS, but at least it didn't force 333MHz.

Back in my day Megaman Outpost didn't merge with MMN and Planet Megaman wasn't dead and/or plagued with internet drama.

Motorstorm: Arctic Edge

Why PSP doesn't get a non ice Motorostorm game, I don't know.

Picture of a racing crash, or just some guy napping next to a fire?

Why does this remind me of Kamen Rider?

That's what I'd like to know.

I'm baffled as to why the trailer isn't on the front page.  It contains valuable information as to what characters will be appearing in the game, besides being decidedly awesome enough to justify posting even if it offered absolutely nothing.
As I said above, if that were the case, he should not be on duty while Iris is alive.  Signas was not assigned command of the Hunters until after the Repliforce War.

In what game did they coexist?

If we already had other news within the week, sure, but we have nothing to report this week, we might as well post the trailer on the main site.

Is this another one of those cool odd Computer racing games im going to have to download? (because I loved Rollcage)

Motostorm for PSP. If you do download it, get UMDGEN and delete the UPDATE folder. Unless you feel like reflashing your CFW...

Also, don't CSO it, it lags if you do.

Music goes is ms0:/PSP/MUSIC
No subfolders. MP3, 44.1KHz, <256KB/s

PS: That first part still applies if you buy it, dump the iso and delete the UPDATE folder.

Signas is a automaton and was built just prior to being put on duty.

Yay for Forte in a non-EXE game.
Megaman can fly?
Suddenly, Blues double air kicks.
The first part of the video is a good representation of what the internet is like.
This looks pretty good, even though I have no info on the actual gameplay.

PS: Forte with his EXE mantle outside of an EXE game and Blues double kicking in the air are some of the most awesome fan pandering I've ever seen.

How about a game that focuses on handicaps?
It doesn't focus on one gimmick or just lowering stats. That's been done.

I'm talking about limited chroma or luminance vision. Or even blindness. Deafness too, but people might be overly used to playing silently. A lot of games have visual cues though. With the game, it would give you an objective and one or more handicaps you have to overcome to finish the objective.

Some things would naturally be hard, like blind dungeon navigation, or playing an instrument by ear with tone deafness. But, certain objectives would be purposefuly hard. Like, not being able to see colors and most of the graphics are different colors with the same luminance.

Some of the harder objectives will involve Deaf/Blindess or Synesthesia.

I don't know how fun a game where you are forced to take on handicaps would be, but hopefully my horrible typesetting and grammar skills will save this post.

Also, because of all this, the game would be playable, for the most part, by people with almost any handicap. By forcing every game player to overcome handicaps, it also lends itself to b played by game players with handicaps.
