How does it stack to others in quality? Last Rally game I played was the DIRT series. Think this is a good next step for me?

I played Dirt 2 for PSP. Physics were awful.
I wouldn't count DiRT as Rally, but Off-Road Mixed Vehicles
The Physics are superb in WRC for PSP.
I don't know about the console version of Dirt 1 or 2.
WRC seems the be the standard for Rally now.

Just because games with good graphics and bad gameplay are bad, doesn't mean that a game with good game play and bad graphics is good. Good graphics are good, good gameplay is good. From what we've seen, gameplay looks solid. It should not make us bad people to want graphics that match the gameplay's quality.

tl;dr
Graphics: Don't need to be good, but a game with bad graphics for no reason is unacceptable.

Imax IS good, don't get me wrong, but people debating over which is better is pretty [tornado fang]ing stupid.

Before digital projectors, Imax was the best you could get, but now I'm leaning towards Digital Projectors being superior, but Imax still has the great screens standard and I'm pretty sure they have Digital Projectors now too.

You can dress up Megaman like Roll, but it'll technically be a trap, but neither have anything that matters anyway, so you can throw panties and a dress on a skin-tone Megaman with long blonde hair and nothing of value would be lost.

You can use a password to get by Chill Penguins stage without the dash boots. But the weapon upgrade is given to you at Sigma Stage 1, if you don't already have it from Flame Mammoth. So the only way to not get it is to hack.

Doing a minimalist challenge is impossible when you're fighting Sigma's last form. But you're limiting yourself to no wall slide, modifying your buster, and playing at 120 FPS?

You're insane.

BTW, good luck trying to get up the walls after you beat vile w/o the dash boots. Especially if you're going to not use wall slide. Not even sure if you can wall jump without sliding.

The no wallslide thing was a TODO, not part of the challenge.
I've beaten the game normal speed with no dash or Buster Upgrade all the way through to the end. It's annoying, but possible.

I'm currently on Sigma with Hadouken at 120fps. I can beat his dog and his first form with hadouken, but I need to work on his final form.
On a technical note, yes, you can wall jump without sliding.

PS: Removing Wallslide was on my TODO so I could setup a scenerio where the game would simply disallow sliding, while still allowing Jumping.

How do you not use the buster upgrade? You would have to have really good timing or not charge at all. In any case, it's easier just to RAM hack it and focus on speed than to remember not to command dash or charge too long.

Unless you're installing new hardware or there is a serious problem with drivers or software, a computer reboot should never be needed for network stuff. Just reset the adapter or release/renew. Choosing "repair" is a good bet. If it becomes a daily thing, you should look into that cause instead of rebooting your computer every day.

PS: what's the amount of day before it's necroposting?

If you ever think badly of Capcom's effort towards this game, look up Harmony of Despair. At least Capcom is showing some effort, while Konami seems content with a glorified fangame with online.
