Yeah, CDs are just fine, it's DVD movies and such that have region locks. (not that you can't get around that kinda stuff with the right software. I've got a PAL region DVD and I can play it just fine.)

Yeah, I played Gen II in Japanese, soon after the ROMs were released.
That was a long time ago, and I didn't make it very far; due to the whole Japanese thing and me not knowing a lick of Japanese.

So I missed out on figuring that out.
Plus I skipped over Gen III mostly, and only just started playing Pokemans again with Gen IV, haven't come across any virus thing for my Pokemans, so I never thought to look it up before.

Sounds cool, never even knew it existed.

Introduced in Gen III was it? Probably why I never heard of it, I kinda skipped Gen III, didn't really interest me much.
