I did it over MSN Messenger. (Back in the days when it wasn't Windows Live Messenger, good times.)
Just move your keyboard/or if you had desktop space, place your cards there.
Then just type to your opponent your actions. (Of course, most opponents want a clean, crisp understanding of what you're doing so they can imagine your side of the field better...


...However, if you're playing someone you know is a big a doofus as you are, then you must roleplay, in the most stupid and silly ways possible, and constantly make crack references to YGO the abridged, because that's how real people play children's card games!

That Playstation Eye thing, I remember that card game.
With YGO though, would have sold like fuckin' hot cakes.

But anyway, I would totally "try" to play an online match with my crummy deck that I assembled back in 2006, and haven't touched since. It would be like playing blindfolded! Only, it would be more like playing with someone who has Alzheimer, since I'd have to take a few minutes to read the cards in my hand/what I draw, because I forget what the [tornado fang] anything does.
Except Cyber Jar, I know what that does, fucks [parasitic bomb] up, and fucks it up damn good.

I think the last time I actually played, was online.
It's hard to play online too, cause you never know when someone will cheat and you won't even know.

I haven't bought any YGO cards since 2006, so my knowledge of what cards are available are really limited, I mean...when I looked at ygocards.net, I saw white cards and was like "what the [tornado fang] are these? I don't remember white cards"

Something about Synchro or some bullshit, blew me away.

I never got a lot of promo cards until 2006, so I missed out on getting a lot of the cool stuff.
Then I started buying tins, but I couldn't find 2 out of the 6 in the set, so it's incomplete. :C

I should sell the tins too, they're covered in dust and I don't really use them, just look at them...as they're covered in dust.

That would be awesome and hot at the same time.
Also yeah, I just gotta get the camera and SD card ready, then dig up my binder full of cards.

Most of my cards are in great condition too, some of them, like the Dark Paladin one, are in shoddy condition because I never really had friends that took care of their [parasitic bomb].

But since I didn't collect, I played.
I had protective sleeves for my deck, so it didn't matter what condition the card was in, as long as it was readable and playable with a sleeve.

Some other tin set cards, I can't recall names right now.

I should grab a camera and take a picture of each page in my binder.
But those are some that I can remember though.
I never had good luck getting super/ultra/secret rares from my boosters, so most of the time I had to trade large sums of rares/commons to get a good card I wanted.
