Looks cool; glad I'll finally be able to be coded.
And Gaia, you're thinking of Final Mix (for the first KH) and Final Mix+ (for KHII; that included the CoM remake that was finally released as Re: Chain of Memories over here). We still haven't gotten either on the states, and we probably never will. All they really were was remakes of their respective games with a few extra things, such as Keyblades and boss battles.

As Mirby turned a corner to regroup with the others, since it was obvious that who she was waiting for wouldn't arrive any time soon, she thought she saw a ghost. "F...f...father?" she stuttered out.
"Yes... it is me."
"B..but how?"
"It is not important. Now, show me your blade."
"O... okay." She lifted the Claimh Solais into the air as Gregory lifted his Claimh Lunais. The two started to resonate, and the Lunais began to glow, and dismantle into its component particles, and they merged with the Claimh Solais. The holy blade glowed, and then all the dark energy that Gregory had absorbed began to flow into the blade. His appearance began to fade, dissipate, decay... Mirby looked shocked.
"Do not fear... for I will always be in the pendant..." he said, reassuringly. He vanished completely, and the pendant hung in the air for a second. A bit of energy kicked out of the blade and flowed into the latch. Mirby caught the pendant and put it back on. A voice whispered in her head. This will not be able to be removed, unless you remove it yourself. Now go and fight with your friends! Mirby nodded, and continued on her way with new determination.

You might have a good connection, but what about everyone else who has a worse one than you? That's a bit selfish right there, if you ask me. I HAVE A GOOD CONNECTION SO I WON'T EXPERIENCE LAG! Yeah, good for you. One person's good connection does not equate an entire nation's connection. I admit to not knowing much about network speeds, but what you said struck me as selfish and rude. I'm sorry.
Regardless of that, as OBJECTION MAN stated, network speeds aren't good enough throughout the country in order for a dedicated server to host 50+ players at a playable speed. And if they limited the players per server to say, 25, or even 10, then there'd be too many servers. There's also the cost of maintaining the servers. If not enough people are willing to play a game that would run slowly on their computer and/or pay a monthly fee, then maintaining the servers might not be feasible. It also comes down to the economics of bringing it here. You may be excited for it; not many others in the states are.
And if you don't know a lot about network speeds, don't call the point of someone who does invalid. It's a lot more valid than yours.

There are several types of bitmap files. This game uses 256-color bitmap; you must've changed it to a 24-bit bmp in order to get more colors; it doesn't like that. Re-download the game and re-extract. Replace the files you edited and it should be fixed.
