Collecting certain amounts of them over time unlocks parts (every 50 or so).

Also you can only get up to 10 at a time per race and each one increases your speed.

Anyways is someone gonna set up an RPM MK8 tournament or something?

I have not had that bad of luck at all in the race. The worst that happened to me was I was hit by a Red Shell followed by a Blue Shell followed by Lightning. And I still won.

I could maybe understand if the game was rare and there were few copies out in the wild.

But when you're selling a copy of a game's card for $200 more than someone could get a brand new complete in box copy of the very same game, on the very same site no less... You're incredibly stupid.

I remember when I bought The World Ends With You off of Amazon, I had the choice of getting a brand new factory-sealed copy for $60 or a "like new" used copy that was just the cartridge.

Which, counting shipping, was $260.

Sweet. That Best Buy Smash 4 thing is happening at the Geary Blvd Best Buy, unlike the last Best Buy promotion during E3 which wasn't in SF at all (think it was the Year of Luigi one).
