Yeah, Book 3 is turning out to be quite amazing. Really happy with those three episodes.

Folks on another forum pointed out how the new villains have been imprisoned for 13 years. Or since Korra was 4, which is when she discovered she was the Avatar.

Odds are they tried to take her out, hence the ridiculously high-security. This also explains why everyone was so overprotective of Korra; that compound was built to keep her safe in case the villains tried to take her out again.

Remember Zuko's first instinct was to alert Lin because they'd be after the Avatar. So odds are that quite a few people were in on the protection plot for Korra. Tenzin was also supposed to move to the South Pole to teach Korra Airbending there, so he was likely in on it too.

It's actually kinda ironic that Korra leaving the spirit portals open has now allowed for those who likely tried to take her out once to try again with greater power.

Oh and also OLD ZUKO IS JUST AS AWKWARD AS EVER

....I just found out that the person that voiced Medusa from Kid Icarus Uprising also sung the theme song of Rugrats: All Grown Up...that kind of makes sense to me since the voices sound  similar when I think about it but at the same time my mind is blown.

You mean Cree Summer? Yeah she's in a lot of things. Codename: Kids Next Door, Final Fantasy X-2, that recent Clifford cartoon, Drawn Together, all sorts of things.

Indeed we will. At least we can set up a large amount of time for people to play when they can, so if only some are available in the morning while others in the evening the tournament can still work for them.

I'd also recommend capping off the amount of races one can play to keep things fair if that is the case. That way we don't have people who've been racing all day and have a lot of points, making it impossible for those who joined later to catch up.

Here's another annoyance about N64 Rainbow Road being so short now: if you mess up on say, 150cc or Mirror Mode, you don't really have time to recover because it's so damn short.

So I had two friends that were getting close. But then one of them did something unspeakable to the other and they went their separate ways. For good reason, cause the unspeakable act drove one of them rather crazy, made them snap. And I'm pretty good friends with that guy.

He's doing better, but I noticed a post by that other former friend today that called that friend I'm close with insane and perverted. And it's like, after what you did to that person, you have no right to call anyone that. After you ruined their life because you just wanted to get laid, you don't get to say anything like that.

And I want to tell them that, but where they said that isn't the place. And I don't feel like it's my place to say that because it didn't happen to me. But when I talked to them (or at least, the 12-year-old girl personality it happened to because this friend has several personalities) and I saw the aftermath... I know the truth of the matter. And I soooo want to ruin that jerk's reputation, destroy everything they have just for saying that. But I can't cause it's not my place. And yet I also feel like I have to say something. And so I'm stuck in a quandary, not sure what to do.

The fact they had the gall to accuse someone of that when they should look in the mirror when saying it... that's what's upsetting me right now.

I know people were concerned when Yoshi Valley was announced but that the "what the hell place am i in" thing wasn't returning, but I think it works quite well without it. It's always interesting to see what routes people take, even if there is a de facto fastest route.
