Gaia, this is just the demo.

I'm sure that in the final version all worlds will be visited by both.

(I'm also sure that the camera issue mentioned will be resolved)

You do realize that both Ventus and Vanitas existed when Sora was but a wee kid, and neither of them have any interaction with 5-year-old Sora, right?

Ahem, for those having issues with the site like I have, I have transcribed the important posts (since I had to look it up on my DS *.*) here.

copypasta is so much easier than having to retype articles in full...

I was looking at the site...

and then it crashed on me... :(

But it looks friggin' awesome!

EDIT: It seems the page just doesn't like Chrome right now; opened right up in Firefox. (This is why I have both).

But yeah, I gotta say. Neku looks pretty cool in full 3D. As for the tidbit that Famitsu translated...

I guess Icarus fit better, since you're controlling a boy.

Who knows, maybe Pit was supposed to be a bit stupid just like Icarus...

I thought it was cool that John DiMaggio was the voice of Wakka.

Then I played the game and got to know Wakka's religious, bigoted character.

Voice of Bender better as Kimahri.

I heard this was from the same team as 4 Heroes of Light.

Even if that's not true, this still looks AWESOME!! ^.^

Why they called him Icarus, I'll never know. I always associate the name with a guy who got into family trouble, his cooldad gave him a way out, and he went full retard. HEAT MELTS WAX, YOU TARD.
The Greek myth of Icarus involved a boy who, upon wings made by his own father, flew too close to the sun and his wings failed.

No doubt they named the games Kid Icarus because you play as a boy with wings. With Greek influences.

We don't know the full details of that yet, Acid. All we know is that it's gonna be in HD, and it's gonna be on PS3 and Vita.

Any extra features and stuff is as of yet unrevealed.

Although they'd better be basing this off of FFX International.

To all those who care about the timeline, I have an important post. In quote form (wrote on another forum, easier this way)
Quote from: Mirby
So I got the newest Game Informer today, and in it is a 25th Anniversary look back at the series. After that feature is a 10-page feature on Skyward Sword.

Why am I posting this here, you ask? Simple; there's a sidebar regarding this very issue...
Quote from: Game Informer
THE CHRONOLOGY OF ZELDA
Each Zelda game stands on its own fairly well, but hardcore Zelda fans have spent ages concocting complex theories about how the whole series could connect into a complicated history of Hyrule. With Nintendo being so forthcoming about Skyward Sword being a prequel to Ocarina of Time and telling the origin story of the Master Sword, I can't help but ask Aonuma if the developers behind the games spend much time thinking about how they relate to each other.
"Obviously we've made so many games now that we can't help but think about how those games connect to one another," Aonuma says. "However, that consideration comes late in the development process. When we create a new game, we don't start with a preset notion of what the story is going to be or how it's going to flow. We start by focusing in on what the core gameplay element is going to be and then develop from that."
With Skyward sword, the team went into the game knowing that the core gameplay element would be the WiiMotion Plus. With the focus on more fully realized controls, it made sense for the sword itself to play an important part in the plot. So when does it get put into the official timeline?
"There is a document on my computer that has a stamp on it that says 'Top Secret,'" Aonuma tells me with a laugh. "I actually haven't even shown it to many of the staff members. One of the special privileges of being the producer of the series is that I have the right as we're finalizing the game's story to then decide where it fits in."
Aonuma says he is afraid that revealing the official Nintendo timeline would lead future Zelda teams to focus on the story more than the gameplay. "People start to focus in on the storyline and gaps in the timeline," he explains. According to Aonuma's design philosophy this is "a backward way of creating a game." Wish as they might for an official word from on high, fans are probably going to have to keep guessing on the true nature of Zelda's history.

tl;dr There is an official timeline, but we'll never see it.

Hey, I was trying to help you out, make you realize that when you find something it helps to check the date and search for topics.

Then ya got all defensive and [parasitic bomb].

This all could've been avoided had you just done a wee l'il bit more research...

I changed that because it sounded like I was talking about you too. I was not. Sorry for the confusion.
You specifically named me as the one who was wrong... and now you're apologizing for confusing me by claiming you weren't referring to me?

I'm sorry dude, I don't care how long you've been around. The fact remains, what I said IS true. It's part of the forum's coding, the way it works. Maybe the name was changed upon the merge, I honestly don't know, but it changes nothing.

Also, I was correcting your spelling there. Seems you missed that by far more than you missed the existence of this topic.

(to be on-topic, YAY ZOE 3DS!! or something)

Actually, I think "you're" the one who's wrong here, but eh.

I really don't care enough to argue. 'Specially not with one who doesn't have reasons for claiming my post to be fallacious.

Hate to nitpick, Flash, but there was the original game, and then the lesser-known Game Boy sequel Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters.

Thus there were two games.

But yeah, I see your point there; the anime is a bit of a risk.

Here's one thing I want to mention...Whenever topics are merged, the post title of the original post remains as it was when it was separate... i.e. THREAD B is merged with THREAD A, and post #4 of THREAD A is where THREAD B begins. Thus, the post title would be THREAD B.

Your post title is the same as the topic title.

So unless the mod took pity on you and changed your post title... I think you just messed up and are trying to cover your ass.
