"See? This isn't too bad, is it?" Taylor yelled. A huddling form lay prone in a corner of the cabin, shivering.

"Why did I let you talk me into this?" WombatMan replied through shivers. "I hate water."

"Relax, it'll be fine. We'll get where we're going soon enough, and then there'll be dry land so you can stop freaking out."

As Taylor and HeatGabumon wandered the halls, she came upon some viewports in the side of the station. What surprised her most wasn't the view, but the swarm of meteors heading for the planet below.

"Something big is going down..." HeatGabumon said.

"Yeah, see, this is why I didn't want to go fight that battle! If meteors are part of the flow of battle there, we definitely wouldn't have stood a chance!" Taylor exclaimed incredulously.

"Well I'm almost back at full strength! We might be able to help!" the Digimon replied excitedly.

"Yeah, and once they see the might of MECHAGARURUMON... that'll be great..." she answered with a sigh. HeatGabumon tilted his head a bit inquisitively.

"Why the sigh?"

"I'm just wondering if this new Digivice will affect the Digivolution..." she said calmly.

"And if it does? I'll still be Mega, and that means I'll be ridiculously powerful!"

"True, true. Well let's get some rest first, eh?" she asked. He responded with a nod and the two continued searching for beds.

(There, continuity.)

The bottom of the island opened up, and a ship dropped out. WombatMan had been plugged into a bot with a large energy source and was not too happy about going out on the open seas.

"Dammit Talyn, I don't like this one bit!" he roared.

"Calm down, it'll be fine. Plus, we need to do this if we want to get anywhere in this newly-flooded world," she replied calmly. WombatMan looked at her and sighed.

"Fine. But I won't enjoy it." Taylor rolled her eyes in response and prepared the ship to float around the world. It didn't take long for the seacraft, the size of a small yacht, to land in the water, and an even shorter time for it to take off.

"So where to now?"

"Whew. Getting a new base of operations... is like a breath of fresh air!" Taylor said with a chuckle.

"Taylor, perhaps we should find somewhere to rest. I'm exhausted." HeatGabumon said.

"Oh man, so am I. Catch ya later, Sapph!" she said. With that she started wandering the halls.

[lol my rift that i tried to remove]

As Taylor stood upon her floating island, she watched the worlds merge. "Floods, eh? WombatMan?"

"Yes?" said a voice from her side.

"Are you ready?"

"For what?" the voice replied.

"It's time we began one hell of an oceanic adventure!" she said.

"But I hate the water!"

"Oh relax, you'll survive." She headed into her lab and prepared for the trip. She was quite happy; soon she'd see if that boat she made would actually work!

"You know, I'm surprised that the systems are compatible with a Digivice, this being the Pokémon League building and all..." Taylor commented.

Most likely true, but from the flame war it looks like it's over console superiority, between Sony's Vita and the 3DS. It's true that it can't be helped that there are those that are picky and always looking for the perfect game, but it's not the system's fault per say, as it takes time to develop and localize the 3DS games which are brought to the USA, only to be picked apart by critics and enjoy a small fanbase.
It's a mix of the two, really.

This is glorious and surprising news.

@Gaia: Most people who argue that the 3DS has no games are really saying there's no games that interest them despite the fact that there are quite a few games available. They just don't want to admit that they're being picky selfish bastards and instead put the blame on the system rather than taking the blame themselves.
