Why would he leave if he didn't feel it was necessary? And I'm not going along with you referring to him as 'it.' He has feelings, he has thoughts, he can speak our language for crying out loud. And yet you treat him like any other Pokémon..." she replied quickly before being stopped by Kovu tugging on her pant leg. He looked up at her, concern in his eyes.
"Liiiiitt~" he said, pleadingly.
"Fine fine... I'm not one for doing things by the book, ya know," she said, calmer now. "It's why we don't often fight; fighting leads to regulation, regulation brings its own bounds and restrictions... We prefer to be free. This is also why I refuse to call any Pokémon 'it.' Living in the wild as I have all across the world, I've met many Pokémon. And though to most they seem like mindless animals, I've seen it to be otherwise. Yeah, we don't avoid civilization completely; in fact, we need to rely on it more often than not, but I've talked to as many Pokémon as I have people. They aren't 'its', they're he's and she's. Well except for the genderless ones, I suppose those are 'its'...." she said, trailing off. "Anyways, do what you can to make sure that Mewtwo isn't misused. Please. And also please look into that officer who was in here before. Pretty sure no cop would nonchalantly slide a chair into someone's head, and the certainty of Sakura's claim bugs me... She wouldn't have said that as sure as she was if it wasn't who she thought it was."
