You know, all these trading restrictions have been in effect since Gen2, transfering from an older generation to a newer generation is acceptable, but you cannot go the other way.

Yeah, I was thinking this myself...

@Quickie: I've had people [sonic slicer] at me saying that $5 is sometimes too much for people to afford and being broke almost all the time myself, that makes me wonder... Why the [tornado fang] are you wasting your money on a 3DS and Pokemon if you can't even spare $5 for anything? Why the [tornado fang] don't you use that for more survival reasons than a damn video game?

I think we should stick with confirmed Mega Evolutions; Vileplume lacks one so I don't think we should make one up just for the sake of plot. However, Mega Venusaur would probably serve the same purpose, while also being an existing Mega.

That said, I think I'm gonna start having my team raise a Larvitar so I can go Mega too. Which means my current team, adding in some evolutions that happened during the search for Sableye (IT WAS THREE YEARS!) would be Frogadier, Doublade, Pangoro, Pyroar, Pidgeot, and Larvitar/Pupitar (not sure if I'll bring him in fresh or pull a partially trained one out of the PC like I did for Pidgeot).

Also I thought we were going to only be in Hoenn for a short while before proceeding to Kalos. I suppose once the Team Flora plot is wrapped up that can happen, and we could always use your trainer and mine as a reason. You know, both of us returning home or something.

Yes. We mean going to X/Y is a one-way trip. There is no going back from X/Y with trading at all.

I didn't expect Iroh to show up, but I'm so happy that he did. And his appearance makes perfect sense, plus it's comforting to know that Iroh will live on forever in the Spirit World. His body may be dead, but his soul (and love for tea) shall be eternal...

Dat witty dialogue is one of the best parts of the game. I love that they were allowed to completely deviate from the original Japanese dialogue while localizing if they saw a chance for comedy.

Actually apparently not.

I've had friends get Impostor Dittos from my Safari even though I'm never online with my 3DS. It apparently unlocks with the third Pokemon in that Safari.

Nintendo doesn't have an online tax where I live, so yeah. I know it's a common method for some people to input a zip code that doesn't have online taxes to avoid those, so I guess that's an option if you want to go there.

Yeah, you unlock the other levels once your Pokemon gets fully trained (EVs maxed). And they can only be accessed by Pokemon with max EVs. And you have to unlock them one by one.

But they're great for getting stones.
