This'll be great. I missed the last episode (I live on a generator and it died at 9:30), but the next one will be great.

Also, at the end of every volume, a preview of the next one is shown. In case you forgot.

Casshern and X. There is even official artwork of X drawn very much like Casshern.

Also Ralph Macchio looks like this guy:

Is it just me, or does Wily look like a bald Einstein there?

Then I would throw Tahu and Gali at your faces and laugh. And Dr. Wily II would be Makuta II. (What, I used to be into Bionicle BIG TIME)

What if everyone could shapeshift?

I love cheese, and Bubble Bobble too. EXTEND means 1-up. Love that game. Also happens to be my mom's favorite game ever. I think. One of them, at least.

Challenge Mode / Re: How high can you wall jump?
« on: April 25, 2009, 08:01:27 PM »
I can bomb jump. Quite painful, though. Don't recommend it. The respawning process is painful as well, especially because I usually end up in the middle of nowhere.

If it helps, the first Megaman game was going to be an Astro Boy game, then an arcade game, then a Famicom Disk System game. There's also sample carts for MM3 and MM5 floating around somewhere, if I remember correctly.
Sure, an old quote, but this reminds me of (slightly off-topic warning) how Donkey Kong originated as a Popeye game. Since Miyamoto couldn't get the rights to Popeye, he changed Olive Oyl into Pauline, Bluto into DK, and Popeye into Mario (or Jumpman, as he was known back then). After all, Mario didn't become Mario until later, when they named him after Mario Segali (think that's it), the landlord of an NOA warehouse, if memory serves. A few years after the DK Arcade game, Miyamoto did get the rights to Popeye, and a game was made from that license. If that was off-topic, sorry. But the quote brought that to mind.

An oldie but a goodie.  Very first MM mystery I put online.  Maybe I ought to scan better scans ... ?
This is the "Emerald Palace Zone" of the MM fandom IMHO.  Lots of scans, but nothing else.
To be on topic, that is quite awesome.

Thanks, Vixy. I animated it in Photoshop. Special Shiny Edition! Rare in every booster pack.. err... yeah. And now I know what the pencil puzzle was based on too. Thanks!

Right, almost forgot. I have an open request to all RPM artists! I need summon images! Just one frame, simple pics. Here are the descriptions of the summons:

Earth - Terra
Terra is a beautiful young woman with greenish-brown skin and long, luscious, leafy hair that goes down to her ankles
(For obvious reasons, I'd love it if Akira could draw her)

Wind - Hermes
The messenger to the Greek gods, he has winged boots and a winged helmet. He is average height, and is fit.

Water - Triton
He is an old blue-skinned long-bearded merman who wields a trident.

Fire - Agni
He is the a short man with a large gut earned from eating fire to purify it.

Ice - Yeti
He is a large, muscle-bound, white-furred humanoid.

Thunder - Vajra
Although Vajra is technically what the thunderbolts are called, this Vajra is a multiple-armed goddess.

Light - Noah
A very ancient man with a humungous white beard, but he still has strength in his eyes and demeanor.

Darkness - Lucifer
A crimson-skinned, muscle bound humanoid demon.

Time - Cronus
Any design, as long as he's huge and immensely old. And can control time.

The summon attack names are: Terra - Astheno Crunch; Hermes - Eye of the Storm; Triton - High Tide; Agni - Furious Flames; Yeti - Avalanche; Vajra - Kerzappy!; Noah - Ark Animalia; Lucifer - Demon Strike; Cronus - Time's Ravages

I think he is. I've been away for too long, I'm probably wrong. *checks* And I'm wrong. So be it. Regardless, the Gravity boss and Hornet boss were reused. As I just found out, you get to incinerate the hornet. Fun in real life too!

BN3 - HeatGuts
BN4 - RollSoul (HEALING! YEAH!)
BN5 - GyroSoul
BN6 - SlashCross (The range is epic!)

Yeah. Still, I agree with Satoryu on all counts. Also, Mega Man 9 copies a boss weakness from this game. (Gravity against a hornet) so there.

Thanks, Sky. Here's the SHINY version:

Here's another icon I made for the Mysterium's first weapon, since for obvious reasons I can't use the Gordo Dee:

Three new sigils! From left to right, they are Abyss (Shado Lv.2), Scann, and Snoflak (Frigid Lv.2)

And a boatload of screenies!
(click to show/hide)

And lastly, some character sheets.

For Talyn's Attire, one of many Shapeshifters (items that change Taylor's sprites)

The Vinyl Suit, another Shapeshifter

A sprite based on someone I know

Off The Wall / The Gender Mysterious Thread (Finally Revived)
« on: February 27, 2009, 11:42:09 PM »
How long ago was the crash? And I'm the one to recreate this thread? Wow. Anyways, the rules, as best as I can remember them, are characters that are traps or reverse traps. Or something like that. Maybe someone can help me out on that. Here are some examples of "Gender Mysterious" characters, starting with the character that made me think of doing this in the first place.

Lucius from Fire Emblem. Sure, he's male, but he looks a lot like a chick!

Viddy Narcy, the quintessential "Gender Mysterious" character. In his own words, he "transcends gender"

Gogo, from Final Fantasy V and VI (6 and 5 in this order, BTW). What is it?

Just to throw Quina Quen in too. Gender? Who knows!

Come on with your pics! I want to see them! And if someone has the rules from the old topic, or knows them, please post them, or if you have the power, edit my post to add them.

Crossover... hmmm.... EXE and Boktai? That's a fairly obvious one that I am disappointed that no one mentioned yet, and it's real!
