"Crap, this is not good," Taylor said, and jacked him out.

"What was that for?" WombatMan asked.

"You're missing your hands, and when you trigger that mode, nothing can stop you short of deletion. Not even me! And I'm not going to lose you!" she exclaimed.

"Ah... right... well, I don't want to be deleted either..." he commented.

"That's.. very existential of you... I didn't think your programming was that advanced..."

"Existential? Hell no! I just wouldn't be able to delete stuff if I was deleted myself!"

I think the fact that this site exists shows that the series is a cash cow. If there weren't so many different series in the franchise, then there wouldn't be as many fans of each series, and this site probably would never have been founded. Or at least in this form. -_-

Two large blades suddenly appeared in WombatMan's hands. He jumped up, dodged the spark blast, and vigorously slashed his foe. "You think that even hurt me? You just fell into my trap!" As he moved faster and faster around the foe, afterimages were left, each slashing rapidly with the massive swords.

From the admittedly small amount I've played of it, I liked it... Then again... AXL!

Also, know what else is long and drawn out? Underwater lurching in Legends 2! IT'S SO SLOW!

Yes, we know your opinion on the EXE/SS games. In fact, it only further proves the point where we like them and others dislike them. Don't make me revoke your name! :P

And every company has a cash cow series. Capcom has this, Nintendo has Pokémon, Sega has Sonic (people do still buy those games), Squeenix has both Dragon Quest AND Final Fantasy... the list goes on and on. They know the franchises are cash cows; why do you think they keep making new installments? Easy money. Even if subseequent games end up shallow and drawn out.

Oddly enough, even though I know the story to the FF games I have played, I don't play them for that. I play them for the battle systems that invariably change from game to game.
