There is, complete with level editor. It is a disgrace to the name.

And we got more bits too. Not just more buttons.

Anyone got PSF or PSF2 files of the later X games (anything between X4-8, CM would be cool too). If I don't get them, my INFINITE LOOOOOOOP playlist will never be complete! Or more complete... I already have... MM1-8.5, X1-3, all Zero, all ZX, DASH 1 (unnamed tracks though), EXE1-6, (no Jap-only ones or 4.5, or NT), and all SF. I NEED EVERY MEGAMAN GAME IN MY PLAYLIST! IT IS MY GOAL!

Except technology has been advancing over the last 25 years. For the 10 or so years of that era, technology advanced, but not really... That's why the industry crashed in.. I wanna say '83.

The Gunstar games rock, Gaia.

There was never an Atari 2800 to my knowledge... I think it was the 2600, the 5200, and I think the 7800...

And it wouldn't show any more promise. Like I said, it is basically unplayable. Watching gameplay and ACTUALLY playing it are two different things.

Trust me on this.

And I had both a 2600 and an emulator for it.

Also, regarding the crash, it wasn't the burial. It was how no games had endings, so you played the same levels over and over until the killscreen or the game crashed. Or you died. The consumers weren't too happy about this; every game was a remake of a remake, basically. Sales plummeted and the industry died. A couple of years later, Nintendo released the Nintendo Entertainment System. They'd had some experience with arcade games such as Donkey Kong and handheld standalones in the form of Game & Watches. They made sure to name the console the Entertainment System and call the games Game Paks to separate them from leftover bad feelings from the crash. This is also why R.O.B. was packaged with the system.

They wouldn't have held off on it; why play a game based on a 3-year-old movie. The Atari wasn't powerful enough to do anything like that, except the basic games it had and, yes, unfortunately the erotica on it as well. Such as the infamous Custer's Revenge. The game wouldn't have been good anyways; they were given very little time and resources to make it, and that's why it came out so crappy. Stop defending it.

First off, it was EXE that set him off. And secondly, I had the... misfortune to "play" that E.T. game. I put play in quotations, because that is stretching the term. You fall in a random hole looking for phone parts, and then slowly... slowly... ssssllllloooowwwwwlllllyyyy move E.T.'s head up, down, up, down, so he levitates out of the hole. If you do manage to get out of the hole without throwing a cinder block at the game, then you'll need to fall into another hole to keep looking for phone parts. And very few of the holes have phone parts. It's horrible, atrocious, and basically a disgrace to the name of video games.

Have you "played" it, Gaia?

Taylor took her PET to SciLab. One of the scientists there looked up from his station. "Honey, what happened?" he asked.

"WombatMan here took a lot of damage in a battle recently, and he kinda lost his hands in the process. Do you think you can fix him, Dad?" she replied.

"Yeah, let me see..." He took the PET and plugged it into his computer. "Did... how many times did he mode change?"

"Umm... he was fine, and then Power Mode, and then Defense Mode, and then he was about to enter Berserk Mode, which was when I jacked him out."

"Ahh... Berserk Mode... the bug mode..."

"Why can't you remove that mode, Dad?" Taylor asked.

"Because, dear, if I were to do that, then the other mode would be gone as well. We're lucky Berserk Mode only takes effect on a rare occasion. Plus, with all the advanced AI in his code, a few bugs were inevitable, and this one isn't that bad. As long as you jack out in time, he should be fine."

"Okay... can you fix him though?"

"I created him. Fixing him shouldn't be too hard." He laughed and started working. Taylor knew that she would have to wait, so she sat in the corner, and occupied herself with a book.

[No, Taylor is not a Hikari. There's nothing saying other SciLab workers didn't have family as well!]

The whole reason of the EXE/SF games was to give a deeper story! That seems to be the point you're missing. And yes, it is like debating with a household plant; the only difference is that we each see the other as the plant. So let's just stop, because this is going nowhere, and frankly I'm sick of it!

Yeesh. You don't like it, you don't need to constantly repeat the reasons.
