Can't be, since I'm using a No-CD patch to play the game. No disc on any of my drives.

And maybe you're getting Gatha, but all I'm getting is girly X with his "Get ready!" and girly Zero with his three-way slash.

You sure you got the files in the right folders?  The in-game grunts are SE/VO_PL00.SEZ (for X) and SE/VO_PL01.SEZ (for Zero).  EVERY file in the package should be replacing an existing one.  Check your other folders and make sure you didn't accidentally drop them in the wrong place.

I'm going to redownload that myself to be absolute certain, but I'm pretty damn sure that all files are included as they should be.  I checked the zip out several times before uploading.

YES, I made sure they replaced everything as you mentioned here and as the readme file said. If I wasn't, I wouldn't be reporting the files malfunctioning here, boy.

Shellhead, your latest patch version doesn't work. I keep hearing X's and Zero's girly voices as their in-stage grunts and groans. Make sure you're replacing the right files.

After you watch Otome, make sure to watch the other related OVAs, the prequel S.ifr and the sequel Zwei. They're as rock-hard as the main series, and just as enjoyable. In fact, S.ifr is the second entry in my entire list (which, as you know, is quite abundant in entries) to get a perfect 10/10-Very High Rewatch Value score, so you can probably take a guess as to how damn good it is.

First game? In a home console, I can't remember clearly, but it was either Super Mario Bros. on the NES or some version of Pac-Man on Atari 2600. In the arcade, I think it was some kind of racing game. Either that, or one of those generic Whack-a-mole games.

Okay, finished Takumi's route in BMW. Now gonna pick up where I left off in Haruna's route. I just wish Aro would release the text patch for the epilogue now, I can't get to the secret stages without going through the epilogue, and no [tornado fang]ing way am I going to waste three to four hours deciphering a mere twenty or thirty lines of kanji I don't understand just to get to the bonus stuff.

Protodude, two things.

1. Have you been able to contact him to record the little line for the front page? While I'm perfectly content with an audio record, if at all possible try to convince him to record a small video of himself saying that. Either is fine anyway, so let him choose.

2. Try suggesting to him to come around and sign up at RPM, and then let someone like me or any of the staffers know (so only we know he's here and he doesn't get too bothered). We could do all sorts of awesome things if he were to be prowling the site undercover.

Not exactly playing per se, but now that Aroduc finally released a somewhat complete translation of Act 4 for Battle Moon Wars, I can go back to finishing the goddamn game. In the meantime, I gotta start working translating the EXE and whatnot for japanese strings embedded on it.
