Holy [tornado fang], do want. That way I can properly animate some things that don't convert easily into indexed color. :D

I say he should introduce himself as Zero voice acting for Lucas Gilbertson.   8D
This, I like. :D

Quickie, if you use AdBlock for Firefox, I can give you my filterset, which blocks nearly just about ANYTHING on Photobucket that's not the actual user interface. :P

Could we at least know small details like, has he posted here yet?
Oh yes, he has. And he's more over the top than I thought he'd be, which, for RPM's mindset, can only be a good thing. XD

X / Survey: New voice clips for the front page, Lucas or Zero?
« on: January 27, 2009, 08:21:44 AM »
Hey everyone. As I know the thread title isn't exactly enlightening, here goes a little explanation.

Since Lucas Gilbertson, proud voice of Zero and one of our latest members (see if you can find out who he is!), proved how cool of a guy he is when he agreed to record a few random voice clips for our front page, I was thinking of pushing the envelope and RPM's friendship with him a little bit, and harrassing him a bit to record a few more clips to us. (Lucas, if you're reading this: your mistake for offering to do more! :P) So I wanted to know what exactly the community wants.

Do you guys want more Lucas Gilbertson introducing RPM? ("Hey, this is Lucas, the voice of Zero, and you're browsing Rockman Perfect Memories.")

Or do you guys want Zero introducing RPM? (Something along the lines of "Hey everyone, I'm Zero, and you're browsing Rockman Perfect Memories, fighting Mavericks for everlasting peace" or something of the sort.)

Make sure to drop by, guys, and if you want, you can leave a few lines with suggestions as to what to say or what do you think about this new proposal too. :)

But more importantly, please cast your vote in the poll for the next big addition to RPM's Treasure Vault! Because, believe it or not, Lucas endorses that!

Who else would it be?  ::)
Good question.

And I'm still in love with your Rin sig.

Giving Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine some love. The game, even though it's an MMORPG, has quite a bit of charm. I'll never get used to the weird controls though. >_> Only thing is that like with all online RPGs, some tasks get overly tedious and repetitive, and some monsters tend to get annoyingly uncooperative, especially the goddamn pixie leaders near the beginning of the game.

Tweaked my signature a bit. Less code, more show.

Also, I have a new name.

Trust me, at least you're not in heat for an Amaretto-flavored ice cream. I am, and the season's already over, since Amaretto's a traditional drink only for Christmas here.

EXCELLENT.

See, Ninty? THIS is the type of Zelda 2 remake/follow-up I'd like to see on the DS. Why can't you deliver?! -u-'

Any way, this is some good stuff. But then again, that's expected, giving Noitu Love and its sequel's quality.
So I'm not the only one who loved Zelda 2 over the first one for being a sidescroller? :D

Eating at one of those for me is rather rare, as I rarely leave my home lately, and when I come back from my Jap classes I usually come straight back thanks to a friend and neighbor giving me a ride. So I'd say around twice a month, or maybe even less. The times I do go though, I try to make it either a Burger King (damn onion rings are AWESOME) or Taco Bell (I love Mexican).

If it wasn't because I'd have to change my whole identity here in RPM, I'd change my name to Roastbeef Stringburger, or Roastbeef Strudelbagel. Cookie to whoever guesses correctly where the name comes from -- but Saber, Vix, RMX and Ares don't count. :P

LOL, nah. It's the first MMORPG I play, so the controls and stuff still feel a bit alien to me, but the overall feeling's admittedly nice. I might be interested in continuing play... Except I couldn't name my character Shiki, even though I made him to look as close to the original as possible, to the point of giving him a knife as his main weapon. XD More annoying yet was the fact that I couldn't pick ANY of its variations, i.e. combinations, one to one and one to zero of Shiki, Tohno and Nanaya. -_- Maybe I should try creating a female and naming her Ryougi. :P

Not like it's going to become magically better 'cause of that.

Turns out MegaTen is a pretty nice game, although being my first experience with an MMORPG, I was taken a little aback at how stuff was done and how the controls were handled. Still, a nice experience.

One drawback, though: the game wouldn't let me name my character Shiki. :P

Thank you.

In other news, I'm currently installing MegaTen: Imagine to give it a test run now, and in the meantime, got back in the PC X8 mood playing the hacked out X4 with Lucas's voice as Zero. :P

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if that were the case. I know it's how some of the Static guys do some of their stuff, having had to hear BuBu lecturing them on that once. XD

The Japanese version is free. I played on THEIR official server.
Oh. This, I didn't know. Further research shows me that the game in JP areas is indeed free, although it charges real cash for specific items and stuff (something every other MMORPG out there already does, so no surprises there). Well, let's hope it stays that way when it's officially released in the West.

True, Majora's Meh. I couldn't stand the first two hours of gameplay, and I dropped the game for good after forcing myself to halfway finish the first dungeon.
