Just finished it yesterday, actually.
One thumb up out of two. Decent, but nothing outstanding. The comedy was generally good though. And the episode where Lala gets a fever was nothing short of great.

Make sure Java's enabled; if it is, clear your cache and try doing a forced refresh (Ctrl+F5).

« on: February 19, 2009, 07:13:23 AM »just watched The Ties That Bind. i loved it. character design is top notch, and the fights scenes were really good.LOL, as soon as I read your message, I tried looking at my usual anime sources for a decent rip of the SF4 OVA, and lo and behold, it hasn't been more than what? 48 hours? And the 360 version of the game already seems to have found its way to the depths of the intertubes.
but i have mixed feelings about Rueben Langdon as Ken. the voice works, but it sounds a little too much like Dante. the dub is great on the whole, though.
I just hope some generous soul will take the trouble to rip the OVA for us peasants who don't have a next generation console.

I was talking about Lucky Star much? I haven't seen this Haruhi-chan business to make an educated opinion yet.
And I do agree with Sato on Lucky Star being for people with a good sense of humor. Otherwise you can't enjoy the series to its fullest.
