You ARE aware that more or less, Azaka and Akiha are roughly Expies of each other, down to the tsundere attitude, which only gives me more reason to gloat about my Akiha fanboyness? :P

Azaka's just a bit better at hiding it.

Since the avatars aren't really being stored in the actual database, but uploaded to the server (and then the database stores the URL to them), it might just be that the database is simply timing out in requesting the images. Nothing to worry about, really.

If tokyotosho.com is down, try tokyotosho.info, it's always up, and works as the fallback domain for when the main one gets too hammered.

BMW Status: Level 33, all masteries so far.

Rage of a thousand suns, how the hell am I supposed to kill Assassin, not let either Lancer, Archer, or Rider die, and exit the map in however many turns I have left? FFFFF 8U
Somehow, you need to get Lancer's and Archer's Will up real fast; if you do and can cast their AOE attacks (UBW and, if memory serves, Gae Bolg), they'll clean up with True Assassin and, depending on the angle and location, even some of the Angra Mainyu shadows. But you gotta keep a safe distance to be able to make it to the exit quick enough. Trust me, getting this mastery took me DAYS of planning ahead.

Massive thanks to Quickie for her shading guide. :D

You're just saying that because Cecile is voiced by Inoue Kikuko, don't you? =P
Hey, no harm in admitting it. :P

Hell, if the two desktops aren't fried, you can always transplant some of the components from one to the other to make a working one.

This kid scares me. His name's Pat Venditte, he's 23, in the single-A club of the Yankees, and he's a [tornado fang]ing ambidextrous pitcher. His coach has to file TWO reports on him each time, Pat the Lefty and Pat the Righty. Speaking as an ex-baseball player, an ambidextrous pitcher is any batter's worst nightmare. Worst thing is, he's got a special custom six-fingered glove with two thumbs -- tired on one arm? Switch the glove and ready to pitch again.

[tornado fang]ing scary.

A small, cheap wireless mouse for my lappy. I do already have a mouse, but I'm gonna leave it for home use and take the wireless one for on-the-road mouse...ing. Or something.

That's very strange, actually. I see no reason why it should've crashed on you merely because it was an old installation you've been upgrading over the years. But as long as the problem's solved, it's all good I guess.

So, from what I've heard, Shinsen's translator for FMA has left after Shinsen got a C&D letter from Funimation, even though they subbed episode 4 under another tag AFTER they received the letter and as long as no new translator is found for the project, FMA is dropped. Which means everbody's gonna jump ship now and starts downloading the subs from Eclipse. Terrific.
How is that bad? Eclipse does rather better subs than Shinsen.

Unfortunately, this concept of samurai shooters is Older Than You Think, because there's a (rather decent) 1999 PS1 game by Agetec called Rising Zan: The Samurai Gunman that did this ten years ago.

No cookie from me.

Trust me, I can understand where you're coming from, Kitty. You need to try some non-standard anime, like Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu, 5 Centimeters Per Second, Appleseed, Black Lagoon, Doujin Work, Escaflowne, FLCL... That's only part of the non-standard shounen/fighter/hotblooded stuff you can find out there.

Of course, watching Gurren Lagann is a requirement to be here though.

Well...except for the movie Catwoman...
Eurgh.
