Ah. That part. I was unlucky enough to get a Trident Demon spawning in that area.

I can't remember what moves I had exactly, but any of the Guardbreakers are useful, and I think I used some of the moves with high knockback (roundhouse kicks and the like) to clear the smaller enemies away whenever I needed breathing room. I think one of the enemies has a club, and there're plenty of boxes to use as ammunition. Your combo should be some quick hits finishing with something like a roundhouse or high-knockback haymaker.

Basically, I think I used hit-and-run tactics, like running kicks and such, before backing away to a (relatively unoccupied) corner and repeating. All else fails, bust out the God Hand.

Sorry I can't be more help.

For some reason, all the indoor photos remind me of Rebecca from Resident Evil. Coincidence?

The only decent VG-based film in my eyes was Advent Children, and possibly RE: Degeneration.

Both of which were done with CGI and by the companies who invented the franchises in the first place.

If they EVER announce a live-action Guilty Gear or Legend of Dragoon movie, I'm blowing up Hollywood.

(Oh, and slightly off topic. They've announced a live-action Full Metal Panic film. With Zac Efron lined up to play Sosuke.)

God Hand- Stuck on the second-to-last stage, first area, and I can't get past the freaking giant horde of enemies. Any skill recommendations? I've gotten a good chunk of health power ups and the roulette abilities, but I'm talking about any particular attack I can put on the buttons themselves.

Which area was that, again? By that I mean have you fought all four of the devas yet?

[Hooray! Plot!]

Meanwhile, somewhere above the Planet's surface, alarm bells were ringing aboard the Ruined Wily Star (which is stil undergoing renovation). Zakura growled a slammed a fist onto her alarm clock, silencing it's protests, but not the protests of the actual alarm bells, which continued to ring despite having just been witness to Zakura's fondness for bell-motivated violence. Mumbling a string of several choice words, she dragged herself out of bed and shuffled off towards the control-room.

Ky was intrigued. It wasn't often that the planetside alarm systems activated, and despite his irritation at having his sleep interrupted he felt that this development was worth the hassle. So absorbed was he in studying the monitors that he never noticed the bleary-eyed Zakura enter the control-room. In fact, he never noticed her presence until she slammed his face onto the monitor he was studying. Taking the hint, he silenced the alarms and sat up rubbing his nose.

"Ow! Oh, hey. Mornin'"

"Don't give me that civil [parasitic bomb], s'too early. Why all the noise?"

"Ah. That. According to the sensors, there's a spacial disturbance somewhere in the vicinity of Borockman's Pagoda."

Zakura responded with a blank stare. Ky slapped a palm against his face, sighed, and tried again.

"There's someone at the ping-pong place who doesn't belong there."

Zakura blinked.

"Oh? And?"

"Get dressed. We're going down there to take a look."

And so it was that a few minutes later Ky and a barely-awake Zakura arrived on Borock's Ping Pong Pagoda through the magic of conveniently placed plotholes.

Either that or the hero lacks depth perception.

Seen it loads of times before, but it's still a classic.

I prefer Robotnik Dances On The Sidewalk myself.

If I recall correctly, there were two that scared me.

Mars Attacks! - Severed finger in the fishtank.
Nightmare Before Christmas - The doctor scared the hell out of me.

It hasn't even been released in the UK yet, but I'm gonna go ahead and say Red Cliff.

Battle of Chi Bi for the [tornado-fang]ing win.

566
So what, you'd go through the life stages of a Metroid, tearing [parasitic bomb] up in the Omega stage, and finally beating the game by becoming a Queen?

Nope. The final level would be you picking a fight with Samus, and being Ice Beam'd before you get a chance to move.

Seriously?

As if "Bass-treme" wasn't bad enough, they now claim that "Only Mega Man Bass has to power to traverse levels....in cyberspace!"

*sigh*

Oh, you crazy bootleggers, you crack me up.

Okay...uh...I was going to join...but I kinda think this topic has gone so far off the rails that there's no hope of ever salvaging the wreckage. I'll stick around and see whether or not we get back on track, and if it does, I'll surely think of an amusing and convenient way to insert myself into this unfolding narrative.

'Till then.

No Trigun, Gungrave or Chrono Crusade?

This guy's made it to the top of my "People to Kill before I shut down" list.
