Oh and also, I think you can push something against the window and / or door, so that the ganados can't come in for a period of time.
That's correct. Flash grenades are a one-shot kill on exposed parasites (the exceptions being the bosses, natch).
And, there's a couple of cabinets you can use to block the downstairs windows.

Ky watched the two strangers much more attentitively after they declared that he was a golem. He wasn't sure exactly how they could tell he wasn't human, but the fact that they thought it in the first place intrigued him. He wandered over and tapped Borock on the shoulder.
