UPDATE (sort of):
Okay, I'm having a little trouble with my camera at the moment, so I can't record any videos for the time being, but what I CAN do is give you guys a list of who I've already made and who I'm working on. None of them are perfect, partly due to in-game limitations, partly due to the fact that I'm still getting used to the new system, and partly because of the [tornado fang]-ing stupid points system in place this year. I had to leave things like goggles off some characters due to that. Anyway, here's the list so far. There are two other characters in addition to what I'll list here, but since they technically belong to my friends I'll keep them to myself. Sorry
Completed:
- Alastor (with a slightly new look and a new attitude)
- Alucard (Hellsing)
- Seras Victoria
- Cloud Strife (Advent Chldren look, my most accurate so far IMO)
- Zack Fair (Soldier 1st)
- Reno (Advent Children, minus his goggles)
- Rude (Advent Children)
- Tifa Lockheart (FF7)
- Squall Leonheart (FF8)
- Rinoa Heartilly
- Dante (DMC3)
- Lady (DMC3, not one of my best...)
- Nero (DMC4, w/ Devil Bringer)
- Iori Yagami (Classic KOF look)
- Terry Bogard (Fatal Fury)
- Kyo Kusanagi (Classic KOF look)
In Progress:
- Blue Mary
- Angel (KOF)
- May Lee (KOF)
That's it. Nero, Rinoa and Dante all remove their coats when the match actually starts, and Dante's rockin' a nifty hat in his intro. Videos will come as soon as I can get them.

The newest issue of the UK's Official Nintendo Magazine has a brief section on a DSiWare Shantae game, "Risky's Revenge", I think it was. Apparently it's the first in an episodic series, and there's an interview with one of the dev team, too.
S'probably old news by now, but whatever.
Anyway, my scanner's not working, so I can't provide pics, but I thought I'd bring this to your attention.
