Hi.
My name is Sinclair noted by my username.
I rather fancy I mean enjoy playing with, oh screw the crap jokes, I'm a fan of the Megaman games =)
I'm sadly one of those sad university students who would rather stay in with a good geeky video game than go out and get drunk >.< I also make video games and sprite alot cause I'm sad...and chiptune. Idk.

Anyway yeah better say 'ello so...hello. :P Prolly get to know you lot better on the internet forums and shiz.

-Sinclairian
Welcome. And why not get drunk and play video games? A good Sangria goes a long way.

Alright, I got a good one.

Ppppppoooookkeeeemmmooooonnnnn.  >BD

- Cookie-cutter plot that never changes in every single game
- More annoying beasts are added in each game, and the design grows worse and worse as time goes on
- Main gameplay formula has NEVER changed, it's like playing successive remakes of the same game.
- And remakes don't make much sense other than to update the previous games constantly, as if you constantly need to play the same game.
- Evil bad guys are pretty much always the same. Team somethingsomething trying to steal this or that.
- Each game is simply an excuse to keep catching the same monsters and increase your overall database, traversing through slightly different places.
- Two games, which are the same game with a number of different monsters which can be counted by the fingers in my hands. And hardcore fans will STILL buy both games, because they're somehow different.

The Secret of Monkey Island
Damn. Love that one, too.

- If you forget the shopkeeper's safe combination, there's no way for him to redo it.
- Monkey Island's too damn big and vague for the map to make any sense.
- You end up interacting too little with Elaine and LeChuck, and they just don't remain as the most memorable characters.
- Some puzzles haven't aged very well.
- Remake's new design just plain SUCKS.

Sonic Heroes.
no really im curious. I really liked the game. wonderin what you can find on it. (though I can probably spot a few bad spots myself)
Heroes started the bad streak of Sonic games. Of course I can find plenty of things bad with it.

- Same game 4 times, with twists that made it either more annoying or boringly easy.
- Chaotix Missions: Makes no sense to collect items in a linear level. This kind of backwards thinking brought the Shadow the Hedgehog game to life.
- Lack of spindash and other iconic moves.
- STOP TALKING
- "Cause we're Sonic Heroes!" 8D
- Level design really doesn't deserve any awards.
- Switching characters eventually doesn't get very exciting.
- Flier gameplay sucks.
- Bosses REALLY suck. Waves of enemies and HP-based enemies which take thousands of homing attacks to stop? Seriously?

Now that you've mentioned it... Phoenix Wright.

Any one of them.
TIT. All Godot-related

- DO YOU FOLKS LIKE COFFEEEEEE because I am going to incessantly speak about it
- I want revenge because stupid reason you had no control over
- I shall act stereotypically badassed and make it so this is the game you sound the dumbest on
- My cunning plan that involves innocent people getting murdered, could have easily be stopped by going up to a little girl and going "Please do not let your psycho evil [sonic slicer] mom possess you and assassinate your aunt".
- No matter how much my character is horrendously flawed and pretty much has no motivation besides saying stupid catchphrases, I shall be loved by all, fans will worship me as their favorite, and eventually, will come to recognize the last clusterfuck of a case (in which the court states the law stupidly believes in posession, but also believes those who were posessed must pay for the crimes of those who posessed them) as the best case in all games.

FFFFFFFFUUUUUUU...

Phantasy Star Online.
Sure. This is my favorite MMO of all time and I still play it, BTW.

- Want to level up? CONSECUTIVE SAME LEVEL RUNS
- You want to pause your game? While playing offline? Silly man, you can't do that. 8D
- 4 levels, as repetitive as they can be. You might as well be playing Diablo and have the same fun. Is this even an MMO, when you could simply host one of these babies just like that?
- PSO Ver 2. With ONE MORE DIFFICULTY MODE and small changes you won't even notice! Yaaaaaay!
- Sega: "You know you're just paying us for lobbies, right? 8D"

@DaGoshdamnFlash:Indeed.

Also, I like to point out that I liked Gunstar Super Heroes as much as the original. Though I have to admit that you really can't compare the two with each other. I missed combining weapons, and I never liked the helicopter section.

Okay, lets see...Metal Gear Solid 3.
FFFFFFFFF this is a tough one. Let's see...

- THE PAUSE MENU HAS TO LOAD?!
- Everytime I want to change camouflage, which is ALOT, I have to pause the game and go through my stuff, which features MORE LOADING?
- Healing menu is ridiculously boring. Gimme my quick-use rations.
- CAMERA ANGLES FFFFFFFFFFF (fixed in Subsistence)
- You used the white faced girly makeup in the last boss fight? It made it easier, right? Well, enjoy watching the entire last dramatic cutscene of the game with Snake wearing girly makeup. 8D

Leisure Suit Larry 4

- EVERY CASE IS A [tornado fang]ing CONSPIRACY
- THE FEMALE SIDE KICKS
- Godot; LOL I DRINK COFFEE AND I'M GONNA PUT A CHILD IN DANGER EVEN THOUGH I KNOW ABOUT THE PLAN TO KILL MAYA BEFOREHAND
- Elise Deauxnim; I SHALL NOT TELL MY DAUGHTER I AM HER MOTHER BECAUSE OF PLOT
- Dahlia Hawthorne; WHAT A [sonic slicer]

...Yeah.
Alright, I'll do one for LSL4, then.

Leisure Suit Larry 4... hm...

- I...um...

Sorry, I can't do this. Leisure Suit Larry 4 was just too damn brilliant. Seriously. It was a game played widely throughout the whole world, and hundreds of people were touched by its story. Its gameplay was unbelievably good, and it's impressive to see how much content they managed to fit inside a few small floppy disks. It was a brilliant, even magnificent game. Everyone should know about it. it was a staple on gaming history, the greatest game of its time, and it's still widely talked about as a game that aged brilliantly in the anals of gaming.

Leisure Suit Larry 4, you are magnificent. We salute you, game.

Leisure Suit Larry.
Which one?

Heck, you people know what is my favoritest game of all time? Shenmue. I am a gigantic Shenmue fanboy, and seriously, if Shenmue 3 comes out, I will be able to DIE A HAPPY MAN. I know the whole damn games by heart, and for the first few years, I replayed the first one at least once a month. So I'm gonna do this with Shenmue.

- "I see." "I see." "I see." "I see." I'm half-expecting japanese Phoenix Wright to step in and go "WHAT?"
- Forklift controls, as incredible as they might be, could do with a tiny bit more of realism. Specially when it comes to the races.
- Capsule toys serve no purpose.
- GOD DAMMIT JUST [tornado fang] NOZOMI AND GET IT OVER WITH YOU BASTARD
- Some facial expressions are downright insane.
- If you save alot of money from the beginning, halfway, you look at your house bills and sigh. Then your funds go down. If you spend it all like a madman, you look at your bills and your money GOES UP. "JAPAN. WHERE YOUR BILLS ARE LIKE FAT CHECKS"
- Waiting until the time is right for this or that event. Until that was fixed in the second game, it was BOOOORING.
- The caramels and needless items! They do nothing!

Pong

- Beep
- Boop
- Beeeeeep
- Damn controls
- THE CONSOLE IS THE CONTROLLER

I whole heartedly agree with you. Though I did like the idea using sunlight as part of the gameplay, the game was just annoyingly bad when you happened to want to play the damn thing on a cloudy day.
The coffin fight that day seemed like an eternity of repetiveness.

I really hated that backtracking thing you had to do after every boss fight. Dragging around a coffin with a vampire/gigantic beast/golem/etc. inside throught the entire level (or at least most of it) and back to the entrance/sky lit room does not equal fun!

Still, I like the game even with those very annoying flaws.
That's pretty much it. Our favorite games have quite alot of flaws, but we love them because they're friggin' awesome in their own ways. The important thing is to admit the flaws and move on.

Really?
Depends, really. Some can't get an orgasm in their entire life, I think. But for others, consecutive orgasms can be had with ease. And for some, stimulation can be had by wearing jeans the right way. Heck, imagine that if you're a girl who can control how she visibly reacts to orgasms, you can pretty much wear one of those remote controlled vibrating eggs, and turn on the remote whenever you feel like it. On a day-to-day basis.

Funfact- did you know Rayman 2 was originally going to be in the same 2D style as 1?

Yep, knew it. But alas, no such thing. ;_;

And people, gimme more feedback. Just because you can't argue each one doesn't mean you can't tell me what you think. =P

Mmmm...
Let me see...
Rayman. The original.(and best)

- Too incredibly hard
- Sometimes unresponsive controls
- Hit detection sucked on some enemies
- Beautiful drawn sceneries means quite alot of repetition and mazes created with those same drawn elements
- Had no direct sequel ;_;

Super Mario World

- Not alot of evolution from Mario 3
- GET BACK HERE YOSHI DON'T BE A PANSY
- Where are Luigi's high jumps? >_> (fixed in Advance 2)
- Cape replaces a raccoon suit? Talk about lack of imagination.
- DAMN GHOST HOUSES

Boktai for the GBA.

- SCREW YOU SUN
- Bit of a limited movement when you start off
- Damage can only be done in a small arc with the gun? You serious? Why's it called a GUN then?
- Fight boss, backtrack, fight boss again in a repetitive coffin battle
- Couldn't the MGS elements be implemented more nicely?

GeEeEeZz, I say, MEGAMAN X7!!
Only played demo.

- Voices
- 3D gameplay sucked
- Movement seemed too damn slow

Hahaha, so many people hate that guy, kinda expected it really. I like Deco more anyhow.

Mourinho is awesome no doubt. Now can he use his golden touch to bring Real Madrid to win another treble.  :P
I remember when Real Madrid were trading obscenities with him. Dude was all "It's only a matter of time before you guys hire me." The other day, I opened the newspaper, and I see this:

Lylat Wars.

- UP IS DOWN, DOWN IS UP
- I DON'T WANT TO GET THAT GUY OFF YOU YOU FROG
- STOP ASKING ME FOR HELP YOU GUYS

That counts as 5 since the whole damn game is like that. >_>

Hmmm, Donkey kong country 2.
Never played.

Just free up some space or get another hard drive.

Anyway, back into the topic. Any other takers?

Not if you already knew.

Incidentally, I often wonder what I'd be like as a girl. The Alice in my name is essentially my female alter-ego/persona.
I kinda wonder too. Girls have it better in terms of body asthetic and sexual pleasure. I like being a man, though.

Just buy it. It's cheap and it's one of the best deals of all time. 5 games for the price of one.

Ah, a Portuguese fans by blood eh? fans of Christiano Ronaldo perhaps?
Hate that [tornado fang]. >:C

Dude pretty much sells the ideal that to be a successful guy, you gotta be dumb and make millions. Our previous good players, like Figo, did lots of charity and promoted education. CR pretty much just promotes pure ignorance.

The only interesting portuguese internacional celebrity right now is Mourinho. The dude turns into gold everything he touches. He's like the portuguese Yagami Light, and doesn't take [parasitic bomb] from anyone.

Ok I chose Half Life then.
Can it be Half-Life 2? I haven't played the original in a long time.

- (this relates to back when I got it at launch) I'VE BEEN LOOKING AT THIS INSTALATION FOR 12 HOURS. WHY DO I NEED TO INSTALL STEAM AND FOR IT TO CHECK EVERY SINGLE FILE JUST FOR ME TO PLAY ONE GODFORSAKEN GAME?
- Incredibly linear, with a few unexciting events midway.
- Level design can get a bit boring in parts.
- Gravity puzzles are NOT fun. Tedious and obvious. Yes I know your game has cool gravity features. I still dislike going to hunt for boxes.
- I am jumping on your head and shooting grenades everywhere. Why are you talking to me as if nothing happened?
- Screw fan communities jizzing over them, Alyx and the rest of the characters are as genetic and uninteresting as they can get.

Ah, don't mind me. It's a world cup preparation match.

Not many football fans in this forum.
Portuguese person here. We have to live and breathe football since we're born or else we're thrown into the pits. But I'm more in touch with national football.

Or rather, soccer, for the uninitiated silly Americans (like me). Oddly enough, since I moved and saw some action of it waiting for food at a nearby Mexican restaurant, I'm intrigued. Those guys are completely INSANE!
"Oh, I'm fine, just bleeding from mah brain. But I can still play!" *heads out to field as if nothing happened*
It's still football. Still don't get why you guys call your handegg "football". Oh, and football can get pretty damn intense if you really get into it. 2004's Portugal/Britain game back in the Euro championship pretty much had the intensity and final attacks equivalent of a good shonen anime.

Another idea: since those games apparently are about the sky becoming light and dark (by PokéBeach's latest news), maybe cameras will act as a light sensor, like in Boktai?
God no. It was bad enough to wait for daytime back then. >_>
